Below is a recap of The Real Housewives of Atlanta Episode 10 “Off The Hook” which which aired January 6, 2013:

There was not much drama in tonight’s episode.

NeNe is preparing move to Los Angeles to work on The New Normal. NeNe won’t
be making the move all alone, ex-husband and now fiancée Greg will be making the
journey to Hollywood with her. Yes, I said fiancée- the couple appeared together
on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen earlier tonight and confirmed that
their relationship is back on and that they are engaged to be re-married.

The announcement comes on the heels of some cryptic tweets from NeNe on New Year’s
Eve. She tweeted photos showing a night of romance (rose petals, Champagne,
strawberries) and were capped with “My answer was” and “yes.” Even though she
is moving to L.A. NeNe assures that she is will be bi-coastal and is a Georgia peach
for life. On Watch What Happens Live NeNe was asked if she would be joining the
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills since she lived in Los Angeles. She said she didn’t
think so but deferred to Andy Cohen who laughed and quickly moved on to the next
question. NeNe Leakes and Lisa Vanderpump together on one show = a match made
in Bravo TV heaven!

Cynthia threw NeNe a going away party that was attended by all of the ladies.
Surprisingly, the LOL of the night didn’t come from one of the usual suspects-
Phaedra or Porsha. It was Kenya’s comment “every day someone thinks that I am
Beyonce. I was at the inauguration and there were like 100 people in line trying to
take pictures with me and wanting my autograph.” The women snicker and roll their
eyes at one another; I’m not sure if Kenya realizes they were laughing at her and
not with her. Later, Cynthia tells the cameras “Kenya thinks she looks so much like
Beyonce then why can’t she get her man to put a ring on it.”

Looking like Beyonce (not) isn’t Kenya’s only problem. Her relationship with Walter
is still on the rocks. The pair attempts to bond by going fishing together. The trip
like, their relationship turns out to be a disaster. Walter tries to show her how to
cast the fishing rod but it gets caught in something near the water- he refuses to
help her get it since he is wearing a Gucci shirt and matching tennis shoes. Kenya
asks him “what’s going on with me and you. Walter’s response- “I don’t know you
tell me; you’re good at asking the questions why don’t you be good at answering
them.” Wow, the fish aren’t the only ones off the hook, Walter seems to be through
with Kenya and does not hide his disdain for her or their conversation for a
moment. He is nonchalant and smirking at her, checking his watch, watching his
fishing rod, throughout the entire conversation. They decide there is something
broken in their relationship, she tells Walter that he treats her like s**t, this is not
working, this is not a way to have a relationship. Walter agrees and Kenya walks
away. Kenya tells the camera she is disgusted she gave Walter any of her time or
shared any feelings with him. “This is not the guy for me; I am so done with Walter.“
Looks like the “special toys” Kandi brought Kenya earlier in tonight’s episode from
the Bedroom Kandi line will come in handy…

Next Week- Phaedra and Kenya are fighting about the money for Phaedra’s workout
video. Seems Kenya wants some backend profits from the donkeybooty workout.
We all know that Ms. Phaedra doesn’t play when it comes to her money, so this
could get messy (fingers crossed).
