It may be hard to believe but Hollywood heartthrob Brad Pitt is one year shy of the half-century mark!

That’s right. Angelia’s Jolie’s other half celebrated his 49th birthday today.

Pitt stated earlier that as he gets older, his priorities have shifted to “making sure I spend my time wisely and doing the things that are important to me and spending
the time I need to with my family.”

Luckily the shift in priorities has not taken him out of the spotlight completely.

2013 will be a busy year for Pitt; he will continue to appear in ads for Chanel and has four films in set for release next year, he is also working with designer Frank Pollaro to create a high end line of furniture. There is also the possibility that 2013 will include that long awaited walk down the isle with Jolie-the couple has yet to announce a date for their wedding.

And, hopefully, Pitt will forget that he recently said he’ll quit acting when he turns 50.
