The Voice airs its first live results show of the season tonight November 8, 2012. In the first elimination show of the season, the two artists who receive the most viewer votes on each team from the previous two nights’ Live Playoffs, will be saved and guaranteed a spot in the Monday, November 12 Live Show. Meanwhile, each coach is tasked with the difficult decision of choosing one more artist from the remaining three to move forward in the competition and perform in the next week’s Live Show, thereby eliminating the other artists.
In a special performance, “The Voice” Coach Adam Levine and his band, Maroon 5, will debut their newest single “Daylight” tonight. In addition, reigning Season Two champ Jermaine Paul returns to “The Voice” for a special performance of his debut single “I Believe in This Life.”

I like how they designed the eliminations on The Voice. The show is unique and has far more talent than The X Factor does. I was so sad to see Julio and De’Borah go though; they were two of my favorites, but I did like all of the others who stayed. My wife and I watched with my DISH coworker again this week and I was glad to have Auto Hop from DISH to watch commercial free. We were able to free up time to watch another show, and still get everyone to bed early enough. I like that the commercial skipping is automatic once I enabled it, so no more button pushing on the remote.
