During round 2 (Latin Dance) of the performances tonight, Shawn Johnson and her partner Derek Hough got into some heat with judge Len Goodman for their threesome Samba performed with Shawn’s other partner, Mark Ballas. Here is what went down:

After their Samba ended, Len chastised Shawn and said, “If I was sitting in the audience I would be cheering. But, I have to judge a Samba. It was very self indulgent with very little Samba content. If you go home blame those two (Mark and Derek).” Len slapped Shawn with a shocking score of 7 out of 10 for the dance.

Fellow judge Bruno Tonioli had a different take on the routine. “Very naughty you three!! I got jungle fever. As art it was absolutely fantastic. It had an animal quality. But, it was not samba.” Carrie Ann Inaba who gave the dance a perfect score of 10 said: “I disagree completely! Sometimes you have to take a risk. There was not a lot of Samba, but what there was, was executed with perfection. They brought it in 21st century!”
