The SPice Girls reunited for 2012 London Olympics

The 90’s band Spice Girls are giving their fans what they want, what they really, really want, by getting back together again to close out the 2012 London Olympics. This is fantastic news for fans of the popular girl band who have not performed live together since 2007.

The Daily Mail reports that the gorgeous quintet were spotted recently rehearsing for their show at the Ford car plant in Dagenham, east London.
This Sunday, Victoria Beckham, Emma Burton, Geri Halliwell, Mel B and Mel C will once again transform into their alter egos Posh Spice, Baby Spice, Ginger Spice, Sporty Spice and Scary Spice in front of millions of viewers worldwide.
Mel C had hinted at the reunion in an interview earlier in the year. The singer said, “We were proud to be British and to be successful internationally, and we were the last band probably to do that. So I think it would be a real shame if we were not acknowledged in some way at the Olympics.”
