Kristin Chenoweth was injured on the set of the hit show “The Good Wife” today. Per the actress’ publicist, Jill Fritzo, Chenoweth was hit in the head by scaffolding and taken to the hospital by ambulance.

Per the NY Fire Department, A 911 call was placed around 5:00 PM and Chenoweth was treated for minor injuries after being taken to the hospital by ambulance.

A TMZ source says “That area is a vortex for wind… and a big gust of wind blew the lighting off the scaffolding.”

The witness added that Kristin was hit “square in the head” and appeared to be “knocked out cold… I thought she was dead at first.”     

The current condition of the 43-year-old Chenoweth is not known.
