TONIGHT’S LIVE ELIMINATION RESULTS ARE AT BOTTOM OF THIS PAGE! 

The Voice airs its second live elimination show based on the audience vote tonight, April 17, 2012. Who will be eliminated and voted off? Which of your favorites will go home? On last night’s live performance show, Team Christina and Team Blake’s singers battled it out in competition. Who is safe? Who will be kicked off?
On last night’s shocking show, a new twist was introduced: Instant Elimination which had two fan faves, Jordis Unga and Jesse Campbell eliminated on the spot by their own coaches — without input by fans. You can watch Jesse’s exit interview here, talking about Christina failing to “fight” for him as she had promised.
On tonight’s episode one more member of Blake and Christina’s teams will be eliminated. Left on Team Christina is Ashley De La Rosa, Chris Mann and Lindsey Pavao. Left on team Blake is Erin Willett Jermaine Paul and RaeLynn.

Tonight’s show begins with each of the team members on stage with Carson awaiting their fate with America’s vote. Before we find out who is safe and who has to sing for his/her life, The Wanted will perform with Blake Shelton!


SAFE AND ADVANCING – TEAM BLAKE
Jermaine Paul – SAVED BY AMERICA’S VOTE.
Erin Willett – SAVED BY BLAKE.

BOTTOM TWO AND SINGING FOR THEIR LIVES – TEAM BLAKE:
Erin Willett and RaeLynn.

Erin Willette sang Proud Mary by Tina Turner.

Raelynn sang If I Die Young by The Band Perry.
Blake saves Erin Willette! Raelynn is eliminated and going home.
SAFE AND ADVANCING – TEAM CHRISTINA
Chris Mann – SAVED BY AMERICA’S VOTE.
Lindsey Pavao – SAVED BY CHRISTINA.

BOTTOM TWO AND SINGING FOR THEIR LIVES – TEAM CHRISTINA
Ashley De La Rosa and Lindsey Pavao.

Ashley De La Rosa performed You and I by Lady Gaga. Adam thought that she did good and would save her even though it was not his favorite performance. Blake is won over by Ashley and said he’d buy her record.

Lindsey Pavao sings Please Don’t Go by Mike Posner. Cee Lo thought it was great and said she has lots of charm. Blake likes her mystery.

Christina is all choked up. Christina saves Lindsey Pavao. Ashley De La Rosa is eliminated off of The Voice will go home.

Team Blake: RaeLynn.

  1. I think Erin Willett is the member on Team Blake…Erin Martin was a member of Team Cee Lo who was eliminated last week.
