It’s official. Our favorite mini-guidette meatball Snooki and her BFF JWoww have a home to start shooting their very own Jersey Shore spin-off.
Jersey City, N.J. has given the green light to the duo and MTV confirmed the location by saying, “Snooki and JWoww are happy to know they’ll be filming in their favorite state once again.”
This welcoming news comes after Hoboken’s mayor said that his city had shot down a request for a film permit for the show, citing safety concerns. Apparently, there is a city rule against filming past 11 p.m. in a residential area and we all know that’s when Snooki wakes up to start her shenanigans.
No word yet on when filming will begin. But don’t worry. If you can’t get enough Jersey Shore fix, Pauly D’s DJ-centered spin-off, The Pauly D Project, will begin airing on MTV March 29.
Snooki has become a household name, everyone and their mum knows who Snooki is. Even if they don’t always pronounce her name right. I would definitely watch their show when it comes on. As a female I can relate and I would be a huge fan. I watch Jersey Shore on a regular basis thanks to DISH’s TV everywhere technology. I can be working at DISH, watching this show on my breaks right on my iPhone. I can stay connected easily. I can’t wait to watch next week’s episode.
