After the hometown dates last week on The Bachelorette, Ashley Hebert said her date meeting Constantine Tzortzis’ family was her favorite date and that she fell in love with his family. But on Monday night’s episode (July 25), Constantine uttered these words to Ash:

“I know what the fantasy suite means and what it implies. I knew if I got to this point and I wasn’t in love with you, I wouldn’t accept the fantasy suite. I have too much respect for you, for myself, for my family and ultimately your family also.”

He then finished his words by saying this was the end of the road for him and he left Ash alone at dinner in middle of Fiji islands.

“After such a great hometown date, I was excited to see Constantine again,” Ashley told People. “This was a critical time for us. We needed to figure things out. Throughout most of the date, I felt a huge disconnect with him.”

“I quickly realized I was holding out, looking for a romance between us that will never be there … Although I was willing to use every last minute to see if time was what we needed, Constantine didn’t surprise me by saying goodbye.”

I don’t know, she sure seemed surprised when he told her he wasn’t in love with her. Ashley does admit that Constantine’s departure made her worry about her remaining two men.

“One might think that because it was so late in the process that I’d be devastated, but I wasn’t … It only made me concerned that if Constantine could be unsure about us this late in the process, could Ben or J.P. feel the same?”

“That is why I wanted to still have a rose ceremony.”

She did hold the rose ceremony and lucky for her, both Ben Flajnik and JP Rosenbaum accepted the roses.

Who do you think Ashley will pick in the end?
