With everything going on in Mel Gibson‘s personal life, it’s hard to believe that his big on screen comeback revolves around Mel having his arm up a beaver as a form of mental therapy.
But that is exactly what the bizarre, but true-to-life-sounding movie, The Beaver, is about: Mel plays a depressed father and estranged husband who attempts to bounce back from his downward spiral by communicating with the world via a beaver puppet.
The Beaver stars and is directed by fellow Academy Award winner Jodie Foster and is scheduled for a Spring 2011 release.
