Crystal Bowersox may not have beaten Lee DeWyze when it came to American Idol finale, but she sure beat him where it counts: In first-week album sales.
Crystal’s first album release, Farmer’s Daughter, sold 57,804 units in its debut week; 20,000 more than the Idol winner.
Although the sales numbers aren’t that impressive, they were good enough for a number 28 debut on the Billboard 200 Chart.
Well duhhh.. she was obviously more talented, had more stage presence and charisma. She had something unique to offer not be another bland, beige “White Guy With Guitar”. Very well deserved, congrats Crystal.
I am excited for her career. The song Mason performed with her hubby is just lovely, thank you for that 🙂
