Bruno Mars Was A Kid Elvis Impersonator? See The Video

Bruno Mars met up with Mario Lopez of Extra today to talk about his recent success on the music charts.

I am sure you have heard his hit single, Just the Way You Are. But Bruno has also lent his vocals and co-writing skills on the hooks for such hits as Nothin’ on You by B.o.B, and Billionaire by Travie McCoy. He also co-wrote the international hits Right Round by Flo Rida and Wavin’ Flag by K’naan.

Mario asked Bruno how he feels about taking over the music charts and Bruno said: “It’s a rocket, and I am riding it.”

Mario asked Bruno if a particular female had inspired his songs and Bruno said: “It has been a series of events. With Just The Way You Are, as a man, it’s hard for us to say, baby, you look fine, cause that will turn into a big old fight. So, it’s a way of saying, baby, you look beautiful.”

Mario then showed Bruno the clip below from the 1992 movie, Honeymoon in Vegas– As it turns out, Bruno played a young 7-year old Elvis impersonator in that movie. Bruno laughed and said: “I was a thug in that suit. I cant believe this has resurfaced, do you know how much money I paid to have this locked down?”
