Speaking of crazy stupid love, with a big emphasis on crazy…I am not sure what to make of this one.

VIDEO CLIP OF THE DAY: PopLyfe Infuses New Life To The Beatles On AGT
On the semi finals episode of America’s Got Talent on Tuesday August 23, 2011, singer Kehliani Parrish and PopLyfe put their own flair into the The Beatles’ iconic Come Together. And… they KILLED IT!
Howie Mandel called them stars and said theirs is a headlining act.
Piers Morgan said in the semi-finals, they had to pick a great song and get it right. He said from the costume, to the set design, to the band performance to the lead singer, he sees a “huge band” in the US. ‘We are watching I think a band that within the next two or three years will be a huge band in this country.’
Sharon Osbourne said they had a great song choice and she loved their interpretation of it. She also said she believes she’s looking at the winner. ‘I know I am. You are very, very special and unique.’

Team iLuminate received a standing ovation from every single person, including the judges, on Tuesday August 2, 2011 episode of America’s Got Talent.
Howie Mandell called the act “by far the best thing I have seen on this show.” He continued that he thinks they can win the whole thing and begged America to vote.
Piers Morgan called them the “best act of tonight,” “the best act of the live shows,” and “best new act in America right now.”
Sharon Osbourne said they are a world class act and breathtaking.

VIDEO CLIP OF THE DAY: Kinetic King Calls Himself The Biggest Loser On AGT
“If you gotta blunder, you gotta blunder big,” were the self deprecating words of The Kinetic King who had the biggest #fail on live television. Ever.
WOW! I was left speechless and horrified for the absolute disaster that took place for this gentle and lovable man on America’s Got Talent Tuesday August 2, 2011.
The usually electrifying and impeccable Popsicle sticks act of Kinetic King completely failed to work for the fist time. KK had worked on this act for 36 hours straight but when it came to show time, nothing worked or went his way.
Piers Morgan told him that on a scale of 1 to 20 million, his act hovered around the minus 1 mark. “I know it took you 36 hours and I feel for you but I have rarely seen an act go that wrong.” KK said, he will be famous now for being “the biggest loser on AGT“.
Sharon Osbourne said the problem was having his assistants start the motion and not the expert himself.
Howie Mandell said next time “don’t use the glue.” KK said he was baffled, and Howie said, “Yes, when I look at you I see the word ‘baffled.'” KK said he was absolutely stumped. He blamed humidity and coloration of sticks as possible reasons why his act failed. He said he may advance if he brings out the nerd vote. Gotta love this guy.

VIDEO CLIP OF THE DAY: Landau Eugene Murphy Channels Sinatra
Landau Eugene Murphy, Jr. is a car washer from Logan, West Virginia, the “small place with a big heart.” The crooner with dreadlocks says he loves when people stereotype him because he will come out of the box and shock everyone with something totally new.
On Tuesday July 26, 2011 edition of America’s Got Talent, Landau sang Frank Sinatra’s Fly Me to the Moon.
Sharon Osbourne said “America does have talent and it stood right in front of me now.” She said she is proud of him and the changes in his life and his hard work to get here.
Piers Morgan asked Landau how he feels right now and he said he feels overwhelmed and is the happiest man in the world. Piers said in rehearsal, Landau sounded terrible but the moment he hit the stage, he was great because he has that “factor” they’re looking for.
Howie Mandell said Landau is on the ride of his life and his life will forever change and he has what it takes to go all the way.

VIDEO CLIP OF THE DAY: Silhouettes Shadow Dancers Pay Homage To America
The 42 people making up The Silhouettes shadow dancing team from Denver, CO, range in age from Emerson who is three years old to adults. They use a lamp and a screen to make the most unique dancing act I have ever seen.
On Tuesday’s America’s Got Talent (July 19, 2011), this group wanted to make America proud, so, they conjured up beautifully moving shadow pieces representing our Capitol, Mount Rushmore, Iowa Jima, Lady Liberty, and the Twin Towers of NY, against the music of God Bless of America.
There weren’t many dry eyes in the house or on the stage itself once these shadow dancers were finished. Even the Brits on the judges’ panel were moved. Piers Morgan loved the performance, calling it a world class act. He also said, “We’ve had quite a long night tonight and not much of it has been very good…and right at the end, we get an act which is.. fresh and creative and original…that was complete genius.” And it really was.
Sharon Osbourne: “It’s endless what you guys can produce. It’s just brilliant and I applaud you.”
Howie Mandel was moved to tears: “Original, unique, wow. You are worthy of your own show. You are already stars. I want to cry!”

VIDEO CLIP OF THE DAY: Snap Boogie Electrifies On AGT
Snap Boogie performed another spell binding dance on the quarterfinals of America’s Got Talent July 12, 2011.
Snap has had to support his mom because his brother is in jail. So, he dances on the streets to make money…but from the looks of his performance Tuesday night, he may not be dancing on the streets much longer.
Even though Snap had injured his thigh during rehearsals and was limited in the kinds of dance moves he could perform, he still electrified the crowd.
Pier Morgan said the performance could be in Vegas tomorrow. Sharon Osbourne said what he does goes above and beyond Vegas and called it electric. Howie Mandel said he is amazed that Snap Boogie can take what he does on the street and work with a choreographer and make it a show. He called Snap Boogie a “star.”
VIDEO: Taylor Lautner Spoofs ‘Field Of Dreams’ With NFL Lockout Twist
An Iowa corn farmer, played by Taylor Lautner, hearing voices, interprets them as a command to build a football field; he does, and the National Football League comes. If ONLY all of us football deprived fans were that lucky! Continue reading
MUST WATCH VIDEO: Landau Eugene Murphy Channels Frank Sinatra
The second 36-year old Landau Eugene Murphy, Jr. from West Virginia sang his first note on Wednesday’s (June 22) America’s Got Talent, tears started to roll down my face.
Why? Because it’s unbelievably sad to me to learn that a gifted voice like his could remain hidden from the world while this man was spending his time washing cars for a living.
This is Landau’s first audition in life. Ever.
I won’t say much more, but just listen to his rendition of I’ve Got You Under My Skin by Frank Sinatra. Yes, Sinatra,
VIDEO CLIP OF THE DAY: Lil Boy Caught With Mudpies and Dirty Towels
This may be my all time fave commercial.
Ever.
Have you seen it? The one with the little boy who’s caught brown-handed (and faced) by his mom, dirtying up her white towels, but who still refuses to confess to his crime?
Co-starring Tide, Downy, Bounce, and mud pie, this “I’ve never seen that guy in my life” three-year old commercial by Walmart is an absolute gem.
A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E!
