Kim Kardashian Is Engaged!

Hate to break it to you guys, but Kim Kardashian is no longer single. The 30-year old reality star is now engaged to New Jersey Nets star Kris Humphries.

Humphries, 26, seems to be a bit of a romantic. He got down on bended knee in her Beverly Hills home to propose with rose petals all over the ground spelling out, “WILL YOU MARRY ME?”

Kardashian, who has been dating Humphries for only six months, told People: “I didn’t expect this at all. I was in such shock. I never thought it would happen at home, and I never thought now.”

Humphries gave Kardashian a custom-designed, 20.5-carat Lorraine Schwartz diamond ring.

“Kris really didn’t want a big celebration, but he had jokingly told my mom he’d be fine if there were mini-horses there. Later that night at the party, my mom brought out two mini-horses, covered in glitter, for us! It was hysterical!”

No date set for the nuptials.

Season seven American Idol winner David Cook performed a cover of the 1985 song by Simple Minds, Don’t You (Forget About Me) at the American Idol season ten finale Tuesday May 24, 2011. The song has also been the boot song once the contestants were voted off all season.

Cook’s new album, This Loud Morning, will hit the stores June 28 with his first single being The Last Goodbye. Below are some pictures of Cook from his recent visit to the set of Extra at The Grove in Los Angeles for an interview with Renee Bargh.

Videos: Lauren Alaina Performs On American Idol Finale With Injured Vocal Chords

The youngest American Idol match up took place Tuesday May 24 when 16-year old Lauren Alaina and 17-year old Scotty McCreery went country head-to-country head for the Idol crown.
Lauren blew out her vocal chords during rehearsals today but after the coaches drugged her up, she said she was ready to sing. Scotty won the coin toss and like the gentleman that he is, he deferred to Lauren. Lauren chose to go second.
Favorite Song of the Season Round:

Lauren chose to re-sing Flat on the Floor. Her voice did not sound any worse for the wear. She strutted down the stairs confidently shaking her hips and was full of sass. Watch her performance video below:

Celebrity Pick Round:
Lauren’s personal idol, Carrie Underwood, picked Maybe It Was Memphis for Lauren to sing. Carrie picked a great song for Lauren to showcase her voice. Watch her performance video below:

Finalists’ Singles Round:
Should Lauren win, her first single will be Like My Mother Does. During the performance, Ryan Seacrest escorted Alaina to her mother in the audience. The performance received a huge standing ovation from the audience and I am sure it will pull at the heartstrings of every mother watching at home to vote for Lauren. Watch her performance video below:

Videos: Scotty McCreery Performances On American Idol Finale

The youngest American Idol match up took place Tuesday May 24 when 16-year old Lauren Alaina and 17-year old Scotty McCreery went head-to-head for the Idol crown.

Scotty won the coin toss and like the gentleman that he is, he deferred to Lauren. Lauren chose to go second. So, Scotty opened the competition and sang Gone to represent his favorite song of the season.

Favorite Song of the Season Round:

Scotty worked the crowd like a seasoned pro on his replay rendition of Gone, starting his performance in the aisle and high-fiving the audience as he walked towards the stage.

Celebrity Pick Round:
Scotty’s personal idol, George Strait, picked Check Yes or No for Scotty and Scotty nailed it like every other sing he’s sang this season.

Finalists’ Singles Round:

Should Scotty win, his first single will be Love You This Big.  Jimmy Iovine introduced McCreery’s single, praising his confidence.  As usual, the Idol’s first single does not suit the contestant’s voice.

Taylor Swift And Fans Raise $750K For Victims Of Alabama Tornadoes Through Brilliant Idea

Taylor Swift is one smart cookie! And charitable too. She raised $750,000 for victims of last month’s tornado in Alabama with a simple idea: Sell tickets to a rehearsal of her upcoming tour.

On May 21, the singer/songwriter allowed 13,000 of her fans to watch her dress rehearse for the real thing. Swift told Access Hollywood: “It was so wonderful. It was almost like playing our first show because were playing for 13,000 people and it’s the whole show the way we would do the last dress rehearsal and I’m just so excited that we got to raise $750,000 dollars for the victims of the tornadoes.”
Taylor, GREAT IDEA! DO IT AGAIN! BRILLIANT!

Jersey Shore’s Ronnie And The Situation Come To Blows In Italy

It was bound to happen: A brawl between Jersey Shore‘s Ronnie Margo and The Situation. And apparently, the fist fight may have started after another blowup between Ronnie and Sammi Giancola.

This all went down while the cast is filming in Italy, giving the locals even more reason to hate the show and probably all of America as a default. Looking at this trailer for season 4, we can see who won and who lost the fight…

The two came back to their apartment separately. This altercation should make things even more interesting moving forward. And by interesting, I mean awkward and volatile…

UPDATE: HERE IS THE FIGHT VIDEO!

Videos: Kirstie Alley & Maksim Chmerkovskiy Finish Last

Kirstie Alley and Maksim Chmerkovskiy scored a 27 on their judges’ choice Samba on the season finale of Dancing with the Stars May 23, 2011. They had the help of Bruno Tonioli in rehearsals to hone their skills and improve their score from the first time they danced the Samba earlier in the season.

They danced to Magalenha by Sergio Mendez.

Recap of judges’ comments coming soon. If you would like to vote for them, call 1-800-868-3411.

They scored another 27 on their freestyle, landing them in third place with a total score of 54/60. Watch it below:
