Rebecca Black’s ‘Friday’ Video Vanishes From YouTube

It’s Friday, it’s Friday, but if you weren’t one of the lucky 167,370,534 viewers of Rebecca Black’s YouTube Friday video, you’re out of luck for seeing that video today or perhaps anytime soon–at least on YouTube anyway. Due to a copyright claim filed by Rebecca, the video has been pulled from YouTube.

Earlier this week, the infamous video had been pulled from the free catalog of videos on YouTube and placed behind a $2.99 rental pay wall by ARK Music Factory. After fan outcry, the video was back for free, but it has since been taken down all together.
Rebecca Black’s rep told TMZ:  “We can confirm that we submitted a Take Down Notice to YouTube as a result of the dispute we have with Ark Music regarding the ‘Friday’ video.”
Rebecca herself had taken to Twitter earlier this week to let her fans know the price hike was not her fault.

“Thanks for all the messages regarding the $2.99 fee added to Friday video, I have NOTHING to do with this!!” she Tweeted. “PS…My Manager and Lawyer are on this and are going to get to the bottom of this! Stay tuned…”

Christina Aguilera Hits Paycheck Gold On ‘The Voice’

It’s not every day that a woman out gains a man in the pay department for the same job done. But Christina Aguilera has made herself an exception. We just found out that she makes a whopping $225,000 per episode of NBC’s hit show, The Voice.

Aguilera’s co-stars Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton each only make $75,000 per episode, which isn’t too shabby at all. But that means Christina makes $150,000 more per episode than her male counterparts. Or triple the pay.
That’s really awesome. Way to go Xtina!

The Closer: Pre-Order The Sixth Season On DVD

I have been a huge fan of Kyra Sedgwick since I watched her in Phenomenon. So, of course, I also love her show, The Closer.

I love Deputy Chief Brenda Lee Johnson of the LAPD, the character that Kyra plays on the show.  Brenda is a powerful, intelligent, and sassy woman, yet she still stays feminine. Brenda knows how to pack a gun yet is always dressed like she’s about to walk down a runway! How can you not love her!

The Closer fans will be super stoked to find out that the Complete Sixth Season is soon to be released. DON’T MISS OUT!!

Pre-order your copy of The Closer: The Complete Sixth Season on DVD here today: http://bit.ly/kgqBLo ! It is set for release on 6/21/11.

What other women do you look up to that have similar qualities? I can think of Oprah!

Disclosure: I have been hired by Warner Bros. WBWord division to promote The Closer Sixth Season on DVD.

Anthony Weiner Resigns & Gets Heckled

Congressman Anthony Weiner announced his resignation as the Democratic representative of New York’s 9th district.

The resignation came after a scandal spawned by nude photos the New York lawmaker took of himself and sent online to numerous women.

During press conference, a man yelled, “bye bye pervert.” How did THAT guy get in?

But it got even worse. As Weiner made his announcement, the room erupted in applause. A heckler, better known as Benjy Bronk from the Howard Stern Show, also yelled: “Are you more than seven inches?”

When the former Congressman left the room, a final heckler which may be Benjy yet yelled: “Will you maintain your hot physique?”
I don’t know about you, but I kinda feel sorry for Weiner.

Hugh Hefner Sticks It To Crystal Harris On Playboy Cover

Crystal Harris, Hugh Hefner‘s Runaway Bride, had landed the cover of the upcoming issue of Playboy— and all copies were printed with the headline “Mrs. Crystal Hefner” before Crystal left Hugh practically at the altar. OOOPS!

But Hugh would not let more waste come out of this no-wedding. Instead of trashing the issue, he turned his lemons into lemonade.

Hef Tweeted: “Recent events call for a special sticker on the July cover. Look for it on newsstands.” So, to heal the wounds of his magazine oopsie, Hef slapped a large red sticker on the issue which reads, “Runaway Bride In This Issue.”

Magazine problem solved. Now, if only he could slap a large healing sticker on his broken heart…

VIDEO: Melanie & Marko Turned to Stone On SYTYCD

Live competition began Wednesday June 15 on So You Think You Can Dance as our Top 20 performed their first couple dance of the season.

Below is the video of the Contemporary routine by Melanie Moore and Marko Germar. Their dance was choreographed by Travis Wall to Turn to Stone by Ingrid Michaelson.

The duo got a standing ovation from the judges and the crowd. Nigel Lythgoe said, “It’s the first week, and this could be our first Emmy-nominated routine of the season.” Mary Murphy said, shaking, “Every once in a while on the show a number comes a long that is so magical…”–and she meant this number! She called them, “breathtaking!”

VIDEO: Caitlynn Dances Without Injured Mitchell On SYTYCD

So You Think You Can Dance Top 20 performed Wednesday June 15th.

Below is the video of the Jazz routine by Caitlynn Lawson and who should have been her partner, Mitchell Kelly. Mitchell injured his elbow in rehearsals and was advised by doctors to sit this dance out (which lands him in bottom three of the men automatically.)

Caitlynn instead danced with Season 7’s Robert. The dance was choreographed by Sonya Tayeh to In For The Kill (Skream’s Let’s Go Ravey Remix) by La Roux.

Nigel Lythgoe gave her a “10” across the board. Mary Murphy told Caitlynn she has spectacular legs and was brilliant tonight.
