Big Bang DVD

I just got back from Comic-Con where I met the cast of The Big Bang Theory. Pretty cool, I must admit. Here are photos from the cast’s appearance.


Now about the show and its characters…Let’s discuss Howard’s mom who is a character we frequently hear, but never actually see. What do you think Howard’s mother actually looks like? Would you ever want to see her? Why do you think the writers decided to keep her character hidden?
It’s funny, but what I imagined her to look like is exactly what the actress who plays her looks like. Her name is Carol Ann Susi. I imagined a small, brown, curly-haired woman. And that’s what Carol looks like to me. Take a look at Carol’s photo and tell me if that’s who you imagined as well too.

Are you a fan of The Big Bang Theory? If you are, then you might agree that Penny and Leonard have a… complicated relationship.

Don’t you think? 
Even after going on a date, Penny ends up breaking things off with Leonard fearing she isn’t as smart as the physics genius. 
So, have you ever felt intellectually inadequate when it came to a member of the opposite sex? Has a date ever felt that way with you? Did you end up working it out? Tell me all about it in the comments section.

I can’t say that I can relate—when it comes to a dating situation anyway. I need to know someone a little bit before I go out on a date with him–no blind dates here. So, I would never even be attracted to someone who would make me feel intellectually inadequate. And I certainly would not do that to anyone. 

But generally speaking, I know plenty of people who like to show off their knowledge base, whether or not the things they show off about are even important to know.It’s really uncomfortable not be on the same intellectual level as others and that’s why TBBT works!  Because we like to watch the awkwardness happen to other people and not us.

Jenny McCarthy is hilarious. Even when she accidentally sends a full-on naked photo of herself to her boyfriendson’s dentist.

On accident.

The actress was on the Wendy Williams show and opened up about an incident which left her unintentionally but fully exposed. Her son Evan had an aching tooth and Jenny intended to send his dentist a photo of the tooth. Instead, the dentist got a mouthful of Jenny; a naked photo intended for boyfriend Brian Urlacher. In Season 5 episode ‘Chuck Versus the Hack Off’ we really get to see some of our humble hero’s computer hacking skills. In this episode directed by Zackary Levi, Chuck aka The Piranha must bypass the security systems allowing the team to infiltrate and grab the computer super virus, the Omen virus.

Was there a time where you had to call upon certain computer skill sets to complete the task at hand?
Did you end up getting the job? Were you a bit surprised in how well you did?

Chuck has been one of my favorite shows and I really hate to see it end. But you better believe that I will buy the entire DVD collection so I can keep watching it over and over again!

In the season finale of Chuck, Sarah and our good hearted hero find themselves sitting on a beach side by side. It’s a bittersweet moment because it reflects the pilot episode where Chuck is the one sitting on the beach and is kind of lost. And now, it is his wife who is lost.

In Season 5 episode 3, Morgan has been experiencing certain side effects from the Intersect. The beginning of this episode leaves Chuck wondering why on earth his oldest, closest friend had transformed into an obnoxious and petulant man. 
Have you ever experienced something similar with a close friend? Was there any explanation for their behavior, and how did things end up working out?

I think we can all think of people who change and turn on us with no excuse or explanation. My best friend did this to me once. Without going into detail, so I protect the guilty, I will say that it took over a year to forgive her and even longer to learn to trust her again.  How about you?

Katy Perry Cancels People’s Choice Awards Appearance

Katy Perry has canceled her upcoming appearance on People’s Choice Awards 2012 which would have been her first public appearance since her split from Russell Brand.

“Unfortunately I will not be able to attend the People’s Choice Awards,” Perry Tweeted to her fans. “I want to thank u all for voting for me, fingers crossed!”

Katy is up for seven People’s Choice Awards including Favorite Female Artist.
