My Generation Premieres On ABC Tonight – EXCLUSIVE PHOTOS/VIDEO

My Generation, one of the new fall TV shows I have been looking forward to watching, premieres tonight on ABC.  The show’s concept intrigues me: A film crew which made an unreleased documentary about nine members of an Austin high school Class of 2000 returns to see what happened to them after a tumultuous decade that included 9/11, Iraq, Afghanistan, Enron and more.  The film crew follows the personal stories of these nine friends and the promises they thought their futures held, all told through the camera of a documentary film crew.

My Generation stars Michael Stahl David as Steven, Jaime King as Jacqueline, Kelli Garner as Dawn, Keir O’Donnell as Kenneth, Mehcad Brooks as Rolly, Julian Morris as Anders, Daniella Alonso as Brenda, Anne Son as Caroline, Sebastian Sozzi as Falcon and Elizabeth Keener as the filmmaker.

Based on a Swedish format entitled On God’s HighwayMy Generation was created and written by Noah Hawley (The Unusuals, Bones), who is also an executive producer along with Warren Littlefield, Henrik Bastin, Peter Magnusson and Martin Persson. Craig Gillespie directed the pilot.

I recently met up with the cast of My Generation at the 2010 ABC Red Carpet Premiere Event.

Watch: Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Trailer [Video]

Warner Bros.

Summer 2010 was a disappointing time for the movie box office.

Hollywood, or at least Warner Bros. is hoping Harry Potter will provide the jolt needed to change things around.
Warner Bros. just released the second trailer for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part I and it reveals a much darker world of wizards. It also shows Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint at the top of their acting game.

Adam Lambert Paparazzi Attack Explained

By now you have probably heard that Adam Lambert allegedly “attacked” the Paparazzi when he was trying to “kick it” at the beach.

Well, that just didn’t sound like the Adam Lambert who I have been following closely, so, I wanted to find out what really happened.

Here is Adam’s version of what happened, in his own words. And it makes sense to me. I mean, Adam was just trying to relax at the beach, but he was still nice enough to take time and pose for the cameras for 45 minutes. But then the Glambert in him had enough of posing since he “definitely wasn’t dressed to be photographed” but the photographer refused to leave the Glambert alone…

And here is what happened next:

DWTS’ Bristol Palin & Mark Ballas Twitter Photos From Alaska

DANCING WITH THE STARS –
MEET THE CAST.
Dancing with the Stars got into full swing of things this week with the show’s premiere on Monday and the shocking ouster of its first casualty, David Hasselhoff, on Tuesday.
One of the more interesting teams still vying for the Mirror Ball trophy are Mark Ballas and his partner, Bristol Palin, together known as Team Ballin’.
Bristol first entered the national spotlight when her mother, former Governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin was selected to be John McCain’s running mate in the 2008 Presidential election. Bristol traveled the country alongside her mother, father and siblings on the campaign trail.
After giving birth to her son Tripp, and becoming a single teen mother in 2008, Palin became a spokesperson for the prevention of teen pregnancy and other teen issues. As an advocate for the protection of life, Palin wanted to share her story with other teens who may one day face a similar situation. Palin also acts as Teen Ambassador for The Candie’s Foundation, to prevent teen and unplanned pregnancy.

Mark is one of the nicest, most down to earth people I have ever met. He comes from a family of international dance stars, so, it’s no surprise that Mark has two shiny Mirror Ball trophies at home. He even beat out his dad, Corky, and tied with childhood friend Derek Hough, for the wins: He won the DWTS title in Season 6 with partner Kristi Yamaguchi, and again in Season 8 with Shawn Johnson.

When he’s not dancing, Mark focuses on his other passion, which is music. He rocks out with his band on tour and in the studio, where he’s working to complete his upcoming CD, set for release later this fall. You can catch an acoustic show of his at the Viper Room in Hollywood, CA this Friday at 7:45pm. Per Mark, “The first 100 get in free. :)”
Mark and Bristol are currently in Alaska – and here are some pictures Mark Tweeted today and others from earlier in the week. Looks like Mark and Bristol are having a ball – make sure you tune in and vote for this duo!

American Idol Announces Judges For Season 10 [Video]

Did we really need a special press conference to announce what we all have known for weeks?

American Idol made this earth shattering, shocking expected announcement today: Golden Globe-nominated actress, platinum-selling recording artist, movie producer and entrepreneur Jennifer Lopez and multiple Grammy Award-winning singer and songwriter, and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Steven Tyler, the frontman of Aerosmith – the best-selling American rock band of all time – have joined Idol as judges. Lopez and Tyler will join returning Idol judge Randy Jackson for the 10th anniversary season, which premieres January 2011 on FOX.

The only news that Idol announced today which had not yet been leaked is that Jimmy Iovine, chairman of Interscope Geffen A&M Records, co-founder of Beats Audio and one of the world’s most successful and prolific music producers, will join Idol an in-house mentor.

OK. Got it. Who loves/hates/doesn’t care about this new lineup?

Terry O’Quinn & Michael Emerson Of Lost Reunite For New NBC Show

It probably won’t be anywhere as good as Lost, because no other TV show can ever be that mesmerizing and thrilling. But, this just may be the second best thing: The TV reunion of Terry O’Quinn and Michael Emerson, better known by Losties as John Locke and Ben Linus.

What?! NBC has just picked up a new pilot from Lost co-creator J.J. Abrams starring the two best villains who captured our imagination and dove deep into our fears. The project, originally named Odd Jobs is now untitled but described as a comedic drama about former black-ops agents.

Making it even better: Josh Appelbaum and Andre Nemec of Alias will serve as writers and executive producers, with Abrams and Bryan Burk (Undercovers) also executive-producing.

All I have to say to that is: WOOHOO! AND, can it please start airing tomorrow. Oh, and, can you please sign up Jack, Kate, Sawyer and Hurley (Matthew Fox, Evangeline Lilly, Josh Holloway, and Jorge Garcia) on too?

Looks like I am not the only one excited about this new collaboration. This is what Michael Emerson told EW.com:

“I really am AMAZED that what started out as some kidding-around on the set of Lost has turned into a network TV reality! I’m still reeling from this sudden turn of events. I’m an actor who has never even succeeded in testing for a pilot and here I find myself involved in a project custom-built for Terry and me! Can’t tell you how thrilling it is to be part of the Bad Robot family and enter into this exciting collaboration with Warner Brothers and NBC! Have we ARRIVED or what?! But best of all will be that day when Terry and I show up on the set of a brand new show, look around, shrug our shoulders and say “Let’s get started!” My fingers are crossed! (Did I use enough exclamation points? ha!)”

Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino Is Way More Popular Than Imagined

What is it about this guy? I don’t watch Jersey Shore, so, I guess I don’t understand the draw. But let me tell you, the draw is there and it’s very real!

Of all of the famous people who I have or have not met, the celebrity I am most asked about recently, by far, has shockingly been Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino.

That fan interest was also the reason The Situation remained safe from elimination tonight on Dancing with the Stars. The Situation and his partner, Karina Smirnoff, were bound in a three-way tie for last place after the judge’s scores. But his fans must have voted for the pair by the millions because the duo didn’t even crack the bottom two when the fan votes were combined with the judges’ scores.

Despite his last place finish with the judges and before The Situation knew he was safe, Mike claimed he had not performed badly. “I didn’t do bad,” he told Us after the show.

“I knew dancing wasn’t my strong point. But I thought, ‘I’m going to give this everything and try my hardest and whatever happens, happens.’ And this was in front of millions of people! I just jumped head-first into it, like I do with everything.” Mike went on to say he thought the judges were too critical of his ballroom skills. “I think they were definitely a little hard on me! I mean, I jumped off the stage! I thought that was cool.”

“I am a very confident guy, but I understand you have to sometimes risk defeat to get a victory,” he said. “I’m trying to show people, ‘Hey, this guy is going out of his element, and he’s taking on a competition in front of millions of people. Maybe he’s making a fool out of himself, but he’s still doing okay,'” he told Us. I just want people to know this is an intelligent kid.”

Michael Bolton Performs At Concert Minutes After Dancing w/The Stars –EXCLUSIVE PHOTOS & VIDEO

Mere minutes after collecting his unfair and disappointing score of 16/30 for dancing the Viennese Waltz as his debut dance routine on Dancing with the Stars, Michael Bolton rushed from the DWTS studios to The Grove next door and performed at an outdoor concert, Songs for Hope, to raise awareness for breast cancer research.

Chelsie Hightower, his partner on DWTS, joined him on stage between songs to urge the audience to vote for the duo known as Team Bolt Tower.

If you liked Bolton’s dance, vote for him by calling 1-800-868-3402!

Watch the short clip below to hear Bolton describe the Songs for Hope event and to talk about his feelings on his DWTS debut performance. Then watch the remaining videos of the songs he performed Monday night at Songs for Hope.
Definitely watch this video of Bolton paying tribute to Pavarotti by singing Nessun Dorma. Make sure you watch in the highest resolution. Bolton is known for his powerful but melodic voice, but who knew he had this powerful of a voice. The entire crowd was moved by this performance:

I said I love you but I Lied:

Bolton finished the night with his signature song, When a Man Loves a Woman:
