SPOTTED: The X Factor finalist Rachel Crow ran into American Idol finalist Joshua Ledet last night after the Idol semifinals.
Funny coincidence that the two met on a night that Joshua sang I’d Rather Go Blind by Etta James which Rachel had also performed during her time on The X Factor. Sadly, Rachel performed that song as her ‘save me song’ on the night that she ended up being eliminated.
Crow could not stop gushing over how well Joshua rendered his interpretation of the James classic. Watch Joshua’s performance here.
TMZ reports that Demi Lovato has officially signed her deal to become the fourth judge on the next season of The X Factor.
She joins Simon Cowell, L.A. Reid and Britney Spears as the four judges. Official announcement will be made in NYC tomorrow.

Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger were not good enough for Simon Cowell because it looks like he had his eyes on a much more commercially-attractive target when he fired the duo from the U.S. version of The X Factor last year. Continue reading

We can all take a collective sigh of relief because Rachel Crow, the fallen contestant from last season of The X Factor,has landed herself a sweet deal. Actually, two sweet deals.

We now have confirmation that Paula Abdul will not return to The X Factor next season.
“Yes, it’s true; I won’t be returning to The X Factor next season,” Abdul said in a statement. “I’ve learned through my longevity in this industry that business decisions often times override personal considerations.
