Lea Michele: “Berry Is Back!!!!!!!!”

Lea Michele is just too excited to be back on the set of Glee.  How do I know? She told me. Well, Not exactly. She actually told all of her 1 million+ Twitter followers by sending the pic below with the caption “#berryisback!!!!!!!!!!!”

Lea later Tweeted: “Finished filming for the day! Now back in the recording studio! Singing some BROADWAY! You know I’m happy!!!”

Lea Michele On Bad Career Advice: “Get A Nose Job!”

Lea Michele of Glee graces the cover of the the September issue of Harper’s Bazaar, hitting newsstands August 16.

In the interview inside the issue, Lea chats about her career plans, fellow cast mates, and her boyfriend, Theo Stockman.

Here are some excerpts from the interview:

On her career:
“I don’t stop…It’s my nature. People have to tell me to slow down. I plan on playing every role on Broadway… I want to do movies, make music. Glee is only the beginning.”

On getting bad career advice:

“How many managers told me, ‘Get a nose job. You’re not pretty enough’? But I proved them wrong.” The Glee concert movie premieres this month. “In 3-D,” she says, laughing, “my nose is going to look fabulous.”

On rumors that she’s a diva:

“People have to remember this is all new for us. We’re all reasonably young, except for Cory [Monteith], who’s old.” Lea continues, “I’ve learned some lessons. But people are going to say what they want to say. I know who I am, and I’m not perfect.”

On her boyfriend:
“I have a small life. I just want to be around [Glee cast] all day”. On a typical night, she and her boyfriend “cook dinner, have wine.”

Lea Michele, Cory Monteith & Chris Colfer Not Leaving Glee?!?

So, are they staying or going?
The upcoming class of seniors on Glee were given their public goodbye papers last week. At least, that’s what we were told.
However, the show’s executive producer, Brad Falchuk, was singing a different tune Sunday at Comic-Con.
“Here’s the exact thing: [Rachel, Kurt and Finn] are seniors, so they’re graduating,” he said. “But because they’re graduating doesn’t mean they’re leaving the show. If you have Lea Michele under contract, you don’t say, ‘We’re gonna let you go.'”
OK–color me confused since that is in complete contradiction of what Murphy had told the press less than two weeks ago.
Those characters “are not going to be back at all for Season 4,” he had said. “You can keep them on the show for six years and people will criticize you for not being realistic, or you can be really true to life and say when they started the show they were very clearly sophomores and they should graduate at the end of their senior year.”
OK–so, your guess on who will stay past next season is as good as anyone else’s.
There seems to be some agreement on the fate of Chord Overstreet. “We wanted him back because we like Chord personally and had some good stories planned for him and with Mercedes,” Falchuk  said. “He decided he would have opportunities elsewhere that he would like to pursue, and we can’t force him to work, so we wished him well.”

Glee Cast Shocker: Which 3 Starters Leaving The Show?

In an expected but still shocking revelation, Glee Creator Ryan Murphy confirmed that three Glee starters will not be coming back to the show for season 4.

Citing integrity of the show and a wish to stay “true to life,” Murphy told The Holywood Reporter that Cory Monteith (Finn), Lea Michele (Rachel) and Chris Colfer (Kurt) will all graduate after season three and not return to the show “at all” after that.

“We made that decision and I involved Chris and Lea and they thought that was a good idea,” Murphy said, adding he has yet to talk to Monteith. “They both trust the writing and trust me and felt that it would be great to have an open and closed experience for them to go out while they were on top.”

VIDEO: Gwyneth Paltrow Surprises Glee Live! Concert Goers & Performs On Stage

You never know what will happen or who will show up at a Glee Live! concert stop. Take Thursday night’s show in East Rutherford, New Jersey, for example. The crowd got two huge surprises. Not only did Jane Lynch appear on stage in a floor-length blue ball gown to perform the parts she’d done via pre-taped video during previous tour stops, former Glee guest star, Gwyneth Paltrow, hopped on stage at one point dressed as her character, Holly Holiday, and belted Cee Lo Green’s Forget You.

Lynch sang alongside Lea Michele, Cory Monteith and Mark Salling. Paltrow came out when Naya Rivera was saying that the fans have spoken and she (Santana) is the sexiest girl in the glee club… at which point Gwyneth appeared on stage and was like… “Oh not so fast!”  And she busted into song wearing some knee high stiletto boots!

Glee Live! In Concert is sponsored by Samsung and AT&T.

Glee Live! In Concert At The Staples Center (PHOTOS & VIDEO!)

Thousands and thousands of screaming Gleeks jammed the Staples Center Saturday for two shows put on by the cast of Glee (Samsung and AT&T are associate sponsors of the Glee Live! tour).

Before the show, the Cheerios (cheerleaders who torment the Glee club) passed out barf bags to audience members as Coach Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch) told everyone that they were about to see a “terrible” show and that the barf bags could come in handy. Continue reading

Glee’s Lea Michele’s Cosmopolitan Cover Raises Eyebrows, Again

Lea Michele is making a name for herself. The 24-year-old Glee star earned some rave reviews for her rendition of America The Beautiful at Sunday’s Super Bowl, but has also raised some concerns, again, after revealing some skin on the March 2011 issue of Cosmopolitan magazine.
The Cosmo cover shows Michele in a black V-neck dress, with the cut dropping nearly to her belly button, and a tagline that reads: “Glee’s Good Girl Has Some Naughty Secrets.”
There’s been so much backlash about the sexy cover that Cosmo editors issued a brief statement Monday to defend Michele.
“We’re thrilled to feature Lea Michele on the March cover of Cosmopolitan magazine and think she looks stunning. Michele is a grown woman and Cosmopolitan is a magazine is for adults. Enough said.”

You probably remember this is not Michele’s first time in the hot seat.  She received the same criticism when she and co-stars Dianna Agron and Cory Monteith posed for GQ‘s October 2010 edition in their underwear.
