Recently-engaged Kelly Clarkson glows in photos for her feature story in Cosmopolitan‘s February 2013 issue.

The 30-year-old singer shared her feelings on fiance Brandon Blackstock among other topics with the mag. Here are some excerpts from the interview:

On fiance Brandon Blackstock:
“Brandon’s totally the one. I’ve never been so happy. We’ve known each other for years, but we didn’t start talking until the Super Bowl last February. And this is the funniest/worst thing ever: One of my superhero idols is Whitney Houston, and the day she died was our first date. I was like ‘This is a bad omen…’ Six years I was single before this. Kelly Clarkson Shows Off Massive Yellow Canary Diamond Engagement Ring

Kelly Clarkson got engaged to Brandon Blackstock over the weekend and then posted this photo of her massive engagement ring on WhoSay.

“It’s a yellow canary diamond with diamonds around it and Brandon designed it with Johnathon Arndt,” the original American Idol winner wrote on WhoSay. “They did an amazing job! I can’t wait to make Brandon’s ring with Johnathon as well!”

Blackstock is Reba McEntire’s stepson  and has two children from a previous relationship. We wish all the happiness in the world for the husband and wife to be.

Kelly Clarkson Lost How Much Weight, How?

Everyone has noticed Kelly Clarkson‘s newer, more svelte figure. Kelly herself is even now talking about it to Us Weekly.

The singer revealed to the mag that she has lost an incredible 30 pounds by working out five days per week and, of course, adopting a portion-controlled diet. And it took her only six months to do so.

A source tells the mag she “feels better about herself than she ever has.”

Kelly Clarkson will release her fifth and latest album, Stronger on October 24 but she has already unveiled the cover art and we have it here:

“I ended up naming the album Stronger mainly because the entire album is about empowerment and just strength overall,” Clarkson said about the album. “I love singing songs like that. I love being sassy. I love having attitude. I love raining on boys’ parades!”
