Jessica made the happy announcement on her Facebook page: “Cash and I are so excited to announce the birth of our daughter, Haven Garner Warren. She was born on Saturday, weighed 7lbs, and was 19 inches long. Healthy and happy! Big Sister Honor couldn’t be more excited about the new addition to our family..”

Alba continued, “Thank you for all of your support during my pregnancy. It means the world to me.”

But cute is not the look she wants to go for in her future movie roles as she reflects on her past parts. She tells Elle: “I know I haven’t been swimming in the deep end with some of the movies I’ve done. I wasn’t trying to. I knew what they were.”

Believe it or not, the Elle cover also says she is shy and doesn’t “like being the center of attention.” 

For her future roles, Alba wants to make sure the films she plays in are worth the price she has to pay as a new mother. Alba says: “The time I’m not spending with my kid has to be worth it, so when I sat down with my agents after I was ready to go back to work, I told them: It’s all about the directors.”

Alba is currently filming Little Fockers and Spy Kids 4. We will have to wait and see if those movies are time worthy.
