Jillian Michaels Returns To The Biggest Loser

The Biggest Loser fans must be so happy – The show will be airing a whole new season starting in January. But that’s not the only good news. Fan fave Jillian Michaels returns to the hit NBC show as head trainer after leaving in 2011 to focus on her family.

In an effort to tackle the childhood obesity epidemic facing our nation, next season’s Biggest Loser will feature some 13-17 year olds. Michelle Obama would be so proud!

Michaels, who will join show trainers Bob Harper and Dolvett Quince, had a lot to say about the show’s upcoming focus on teens. “As a former overweight teen, I know firsthand how dramatically weight issues can affect every aspect of a child’s life,” said Michaels. ”Having recently become a mother of two, I am more passionate than ever about helping empower children and families with the information and resources they need to live a healthier life.”
