WOW – didn’t see this one coming! I am not really surprised that this happened, but am shocked that it took us ten years to find out about it. Talk about a well-kept State secret!
Only a week after announcing separation from his wife of 25 years, Maria Shriver, Arnold Schwarzenegger has now come forward and admitted to fathering a love child ten years ago with a former unnamed house staffer.
The Los Angeles Times reports that Shriver initiated the separation from Schwarzenegger when she learned he had a child with a member of their household staff over a decade ago.
“After leaving the governor’s office I told my wife about this event, which occurred over a decade ago,” Schwarzenegger said Monday in a statement. “I understand and deserve the feelings of anger and disappointment among my friends and family. There are no excuses and I take full responsibility for the hurt I have caused. I have apologized to Maria, my children and my family. I am truly sorry.”
“I ask that the media respect my wife and children through this extremely difficult time. While I deserve your attention and criticism, my family does not.”
Patricia Baena, the woman who gave birth to the child, had worked in the family’s home for the past 20 years, but retired this past January.
Last weeks’s number one couple on Dancing with the Stars again reached the top of the leaderboard when Monday’s (5/16) show was all said and done.
But it wasn’t all rosy in rehearsals though for Chelsea Kane and Mark Ballas. At one point, Mark told his partner that he was done practicing because he felt like he was lifting a “dead weight.” Harsh. “I am busting my ass,” continued a frustrated Mark and and Chelsea admitted she was not prepared for the level of difficulty this competition requires.
None of that mattered when the duo hit the dance floor. Despite some weird blonde version of a Lucy van Pelt fused with a bit of Snooki hairdo on Chelsea, she looked elegant and beautiful and Mark looked suave in his tuxedo. The judges were a bit mixed:
Carrie Ann Inaba (9): “You are such a fantastic dancer Chelsea but I found that to not be up to par. You were not sharp and I felt that you did not finish your moves. Chelsea, you have to give it your best. Your legs looked bent and not as strong.”
Len Goodman (9): “She’s right, your legs lacked authority. It was clean, it was precise. The lifts were right in character. And as always, you produced a first class performance. Well done.” Bruno Tonioli (10): “I know exactly how you played it and you played it well. This was like watching Sharon Stone out there. Fascinating, intriguing. You had that kind of basic instinct hint in there [As Bruno subtly reached for his crotch] but it was restrained. You did it with caresses, teasing the body of the man [As Bruno caressed Len. Len got up] leading him to perdition. They did not get it, I got it. And America has it as well. Well done.” TOTAL SCORE FOR FIRST DANCE: 28 Watch their Argentine Tango below:
For their Rumba, the two danced to Eyes on Fire by Blue Foundation, Chelsea’s costume blew me away. She had on a chiffon headdress that dragged on about twenty feet long. Their dance was sensual and moving – simply beautiful.
Carrie Ann (10): “Now, that’s what I wanted to see. Full range of motion, full passion, full commitment to movement. That was a niiice Rumba.”
Len (10): “It had mood, it was very expressive. You had lovely feet and legs which created a natural hip action. Tonight you have fulfilled your potential. You’re there.”
Bruno (10): “It was like a hypnotizing sequence of stunning shapes beautifully linked. It was romantic and erotic but perfectly pitched. It was stunning.”
TOTAL SCORE FOR SECOND DANCE: 30. Add to that the 15 points that this duo got for winning the third dance and Mark and Chelsea ended up in first place with a score of 73.
Here is their Rumba to Eyes on Fire by Blue Foundation and Chelsea’s back story video:
But they gracefully overcame those odds by landing not only the first 30 of the season on their first dance, but following that up by playfully earning yet another 30 on their second dance for a perfect score of 60 for the night.
During the performance of the Argentine Tango to the song Perhaps Perhaps Perhaps by Cake, the duo sizzled and their undeniable chemistry sent heatwaves through the dance floor. Both Hines and Kym were in emotional tears when the dance was successfully finished without further incident.
Between the judges’ comments, Kym and Hines kept hugging each other and crying, so much so that Kym nearly had a wardrobe malfunction. Tom Bergeron went to Kym and told her to pop in her right breast which was about to pop out of her costume.
Len Goodman (10): “I was there in the club watching the whole story unfold. I was peeping behind the curtain. We were all there. The floozy coming down the stairs. The legs were like something from the Kama Sutra. Now, that is a Tango.”
Bruno Tonioli (10): “Every emotion was out there for the taking. The battle of the wills between the man and the woman. Who is going to be the dominant partner. Who is going to relinquish all resistance. Who is gonna end on top. It was like good sex. You never want it to end.” And again, Hines and Kym went back to hugging each other.
Carrie Ann Inaba (10): “I’m just happy you’re OK, cause that was a serious injury [holding back tears]. I am so impressed with the routine and the way you [Kym] danced the routine. But mostly, I am so impressed Hines by the way you partnered her through that routine. Because that routine would have been very dangerous for her and I saw the way you supported her and the connection was just beyond what we ask for in a dance routine. This is someone really taking care of her dance partner out there and the dance was stunning. Excellent job.”
TOTAL SCORE FOR FIRST DANCE: 30
Watch their Argentine Tango And Kym’s ALMOST WARDROBE MALFUNCTION below.
Hines and Kym were ever so playful on their second dance of the night, the Salsa to Hello by The Cat Empire. Len (10): “You were steamin and I was beamin. It was just a joyful experience.” Bruno (10): “Hines, just one sentence can describe you: ‘You are beautiful, man. Beautiful person, great ability, great versatility and supremely watchable.” Carrie Ann (10): “I can’t even explain how much joy I get when you dance.”
Here is their Salsa to Hello by The Cat Empire and Hines’ back story. TOTAL SCORE FOR SECOND DANCE: 30, landing them in second place for the night.
This week, Ralph said: “It’s the fans that got me through last week and it’s so important for me to put out a performance this week that’s worthy of their votes.”
With three dances to learn and Ralph’s knee still bothering him, Ralph struggled in rehearsals with the “hip hop, funky” character required for the Salsa. He also had to “super size” his butt with special underwear so he could shake his booty better. He felt more comfortable in rehearsals when it came to the Argentine Tango.
During the performance of the Argentine Tango, Ralph looked refined and like someone definitely worthy of still being in the competition at this stage. The judges were not as kind, as is the case most often when it comes to Ralph and Karina.
Len Goodman (9): “It lacked a bit of emotion…it didn’t really smolder. I liked the set up. I thought it was sharp and precise, full of content. I thought you did a very good job, well done.” Bruno Tonioli (8): “Yes, something was happening when you were stroking your lamppost there something was stirring there. But once you got hold of Karina, you were very stern. Very detached and cold determination of execution there. I still have not seen the Latin lover….come and get it. Yes, yes…too flat in interpretation.” Carrie Ann Inaba (8): “You know what’s lacking, you have got to get the emotion that is in your face down to your feet, you have to make it all connect.” TOTAL SCORE FOR FIRST DANCE: 25
Here is the video of the Argentine Tango:
For their Salsa, Karina was dressed like an extra in the Broadway musical Cats. Ralph shook his supersized butt to I Know You Want Me by Pitbull. The judges were even less kind with scores and comments on Ralph and Karina’s second dance:
Len (7): “All too wild, there was no rhythm. Too harsh, too in your face..it was wiiiiild.” Bruno (8): “Well, you definitely went for a bad ass Salsa. Are you wearing extra large diapers? You were too rough with your pussy darling, [Crowd boos]. You have to take it gently…[Crowd boos louder, some look disgusted]. Pussy cat, that’s what we call it. What is she?” Carry Ann (8): After saying Bruno needed a muzzle, said:“Oddly, I liked it. There’s something so bizarre and uncharacteristic for you to put on a booty pad and shake it like your mama told you. I was actually impressed. Yes, your technique went out but this is the most fun I have seen you have throughout the whole competition.” TOTAL SCORE FOR THE SECOND DANCE: 23. TOTAL SCORE FOR THE NIGHT: 48, LAST PLACE
Last Friday Dancing with the Stars pro Kym Johnson got inured during rehearsals when she fell during a flip and her partner Hines Ward landed on her. Miraculously, she was feeling so much better that she performed on Monday night’s episode and the duo scored two perfect 30’s.
Here is the video of her fall and injury – It’s sweet that Kym is worried about teaching the dance to Hines instead of her own injury:

Dancing with the Stars 2011 May 16, 2011 had our four remaining couples doing two dances plus a “winner take all” Cha Cha Cha for an additional 15 points going to the team that won. Kirstie & Maks danced the Paso Doble and Viennese Waltz, Chelsea & Mark danced the Rumba and Argentine Tango, Ralph & Karina the Argentine Tango and Salsa and Hines & Kym the Argentine Tango and the Salsa!
Kym’s neck injury during rehearsal didn’t keep Kym Johnson down — nor did it keep the couple from receiving this season’s first perfect score of 30!I
In the final cha-cha round, Hines and Kym beat out Ralph and Karina in the firstround, and Chelsea and Mark beat out Kirstie and Maks in the second. Then Chelsea and Mark knocked out Hines and Kym and won 15 additional points for the night.
Joe Jonas will be releasing his first single as a solo artist soon.
The song, See No More, was co-written by Joe and Chris Brown, and will be ready for radio play June 3, followed by digital sale on June 13.
Jonas told E!: “It’s an emotional song that I’ve been trying to go with for awhile now. I feel like, a lot of times for artists it’s important for them to just write out how they’re feeling in their music, and I was able to do that in this song.”
If you had already decided on voting for Donald Trump in the next presidential election, I have some bad news for you…You can now burn your “Trump 2012” t-shirt because the business mogul and host of The Apprentice franchise released a statement Monday that he will keep doing what he does best and will not be running for the Big Office.
The Donald said: “I have spent the past several months unofficially campaigning and recognize that running for public office cannot be done half heartedly. Ultimately, however, business is my greatest passion and I am not ready to leave the private sector.”
WHICH OF YOU ARE SAD AND WHICH OF YOU ARE JUMPING FOR JOY NOW? I for one am more curious than anything to find out what ads will now be running next to my Celebrity Apprentice recap articles which have been inundated with Trump 2012 banners recently. And no, I don’t pick the ads!
Here is the full statement:
After considerable deliberation and reflection, I have decided not to pursue the office of the Presidency. This decision does not come easily or without regret; especially when my potential candidacy continues to be validated by ranking at the top of the Republican contenders in polls across the country. I maintain the strong conviction that if I were to run, I would be able to win the primary and ultimately, the general election. I have spent the past several months unofficially campaigning and recognize that running for public office cannot be done half heartedly. Ultimately, however, business is my greatest passion and I am not ready to leave the private sector.
I want to personally thank the millions of Americans who have joined the various Trump grassroots movements and written me letters and e-mails encouraging me to run. My gratitude for your faith and trust in me could never be expressed properly in words. So, I make you this promise: that I will continue to voice my opinions loudly and help to shape our politician’s thoughts. My ability to bring important economic and foreign policy issues to the forefront of the national dialogue is perhaps my greatest asset and one of the most valuable services I can provide to this country. I will continue to push our President and the country’s policy makers to address the dire challenges arising from our unsustainable debt structure and increasing lack of global competitiveness. Issues, including getting tough on China and other countries that are methodically and systematically taking advantage of the United States, were seldom mentioned before I brought them to the forefront of the country’s conversation. They are now being debated vigorously. I will also continue to push for job creation, an initiative that should be this country’s top priority and something that I know a lot about. I will not shy away from expressing the opinions that so many of you share yet don’t have a medium through which to articulate.
I look forward to supporting the candidate who is the most qualified to help us tackle our country’s most important issues and am hopeful that, when this person emerges, he or she will have the courage to take on the challenges of the Office and be the agent of change that this country so desperately needs. Thank you and God Bless America!
Don’t worry for Trump. NBC announced at the Upfront presentation on Monday that Celebrity Apprentice would be coming back in midseason.
Lady Gagacan’t be stopped. Sometime around Saturday, she did the unthinkable! She became the first Twitter user to gain 10 million followers. To put things in perspective, Justin Bieber is a close second at 9.6 million and then Barack Obama with 8 million. Britney Spears has 7.8 million.
In Gaga fashion, she celebrated the achievement by sending, what else, a tweet and a twitpic! “10 Million Monsters! I’m speechless, we did it! Its an illness how I love you. Leaving Londonsmiling.” The pic is from her in London, waving to the crowd of fans!
