Britney Spears has premiered her new video for her latest “Femme Fatale” single, I Wanna Go,and you can watch it below!
The video, directed by Chris Marrs Piliero, has the pop star standing on top of a car and wielding a microphone as a weapon against the paparazzi who follow Brit’s every move in real life.
Adam Levine saved Casey Weston over his initial gut choice of Jeff Jenkins on Tuesday night’s semi-final episode of The Voice and then coached her into a very controlled rendition of I Will Always Love You – a song covered by two music legends, Dolly Parton and Whitney Houston.
Levine and Weston butted heads in rehearsals: He wanted her to stay away from the iconic versions of the song and create her own and stopped her several times to make sure she stayed on track. Weston said: “I am not trying (to be Whitney). I am just trying to be Casey and sing the way I know how to sing.”
For the live performance, Weston wore a beautiful white dress with brown cowboy boots and delivered a strong rendition of the song.
The judges loved her. Blake Shelton gave her a back-handed compliment: “I never expect you to blow me away, but you always do!” Levine said: “This performance proves that our arguments pay off, because you were amazing, and thank you!”
Maybe it was their arguments, maybe it was saving her over Jenkins, but the internet rumors started immediately after the show on whether Weston and Levine are dating. I have no clue, sorry. Well, except I am pretty sure Levine is still with long-time girlfriend, SI swimsuit model, Anne Vyalitsyna who starred in his Misery video.
Vicci Martinez ended The Voice Tuesday night (June 21) with a show-stopping rendition of Florence and the Machine’s Dog Days Are Over.
Pounding two drums and sporting an ’80s white outfit and a big pompadour-type hairdo, she got a standing ovation from the crowd.
Adam Levine complemented her hair and called her efforts the “coolest performance of the night.” Blake Shelton agreed and called it the “most powerful performance of the night.” He said it was like someone threw a match on stage and lit it. “There’s no two ways about it, that was a great performance,” said Christina Aguilera.
As for Vicci’s Coach Cee Lo Green, he said: “I’m so excited for you, I’m sitting on the edge of my seat. You’re right, the dog days are over for you, the future is so bright for you, my darling!”
UPDATE: All the videos of the performance have been pulled off of YouTube. But you can hear it in the video below:
On tonight’s semi-finals competition of The Voice, it was the pros who stole the show.
Christina Aguilera and Adam Levine may have been at each other’s throat all season long, but when it came time for the world premiere of their collaboration, Moves Like Jagger, they were nothing but chemistry and groove. The new song also features Levine’s band, Maroon 5.
The song title has been a trending topic on Twitter all day today.
Frenchie Davis put her larger-than-life voice and persona into her rendition of Madonna’s Like a Prayer on Tuesday’s (June 21) The Voice.
Cee Lo Green called her his “soul sister throwing down.” Adam Levine simply professed his love for Davis.
But Blake Shelton had the best line of the night, calling Davis’ rendition a big middle finger to anyone who ever doubted Christina Aguilera‘s save of the musician last week. Aguilera said: “That took some lungs and breath, and power and control. You got it … All of that.”

Here are some pics of Frenchie from her interview with Mario Lopez of Extra at The Grove.
On June 21st episode of The Voice, Xenia brought her undeniable unique tone and understated style to The Man Who Can’t Be Moved. Blake Shelton coached her into putting her own spin on the song.
On stage, it was just Xenia and a mic. There were no gimmicks, props, backup singers or dancers. She doesn’t need any of that. Adam Levine said she already owns the hardest thing to obtain, and that is a really unique voice. Christina Aguilera agreed with Adam about the uniqueness of Xenia’s voice and complimented its maturity. She also said Xenia is one of her favorites in the competition. Cee Lo Green loves that Xenia has remained unaffected by all the pressure around her. Blake Shelton said that he knows that he will hear Xenia’s voice on the radio and it will stand out from all the other voices.
Javier Colon‘s rendition of Fix You by Coldplay on Tuesday’s The Voice proved once again that this guy will be in the finals come week.
During Javier’s performance he finally took off his hat. Blake Shelton said: “I’m so pissed off that I wasn’t over there to catch that hat because the son of a bitch is gonna be worth a lot of money.”
Cee-Lo Green said, “Wonderful song choice. Chris and Gwyneth are both friends of mine.”
“I’m Cee-Lo. I know celebrities,” Adam Levine interrupted.
Frampton had already wowed us when she performed Kanye West’s Heartless earlier in the season–a rendition which turned into a top 20 song in iTunes sales.
Christina Aguileratold Frampton that she has shown the most growth of all the singers on The Voice. “What’s so interesting about you is that in the beginning I’m all like ‘[she’s] cuddly, soft’,” said Aguilera, “but I’ve seen you grow so much on the show. You kind of made this an interesting game.”
Her coach Blake Shelton joined the praises by joking that he is worried Frampton will release a song and blow his songs off the charts because she is that good. After a standing ovation, Shelton said: “That’s what this show is about. A girl stood out here on this stage an performed and left her heart and soul on the stage. That’s what you’re supposed to do and you do it every time.”

NOTE TO SELF: When in Austin, TX, leave my phone at home before going to see a movie. Duly noted.
You may want to do the same, unless you like being kicked out and made into a public example indefinitely.
That’s exactly what happened to a moviegoer at the Alamo Drafthouse who was twice warned to stop texting during a showing before eventually being forced to leave.
Of course, the customer was pissed, so, she called the theater and left a heeelarious voice mail rant.
But, that’s not the end of things. The Alamo Drafthouse took the recording and turned it into a public announcement which warns other customers against using their cell phones too. The spot is shown before every R-rated movie (due to its profanity).
You have to listen to this woman trying to make a case of why she should be able to use her phone in the Magnited States of America.
