Rihanna Attacks MTV Canada for Story That She Admitted Provoking Chris Brown Attack

My guess, and hope, is that Rihanna‘s Twitter account was hacked – because a story went around the internet Thursday that the singer sent this message via her Twitter: “I admit it, I provoked Chris to hit me. I’t [sic] was not entirely his fault. #ImSORRY.”
Huh?
This “news” was circulated on heels of recent revelations that Rihanna and Chris Brown mutually “follow” each other on Twitter.  Earlier this week, Chris Brown tweeted to his entire fan base, when he possibly meant to direct message Rihanna, “You got that pic I sent you?” Or maybe it wasn’t a mistake and perhaps Chris’ account was hacked too?
Who knows?! But, regardless, Rihanna was seeing red when the story made its way to MTV Canada and she took to Twitter to attack back: “@mtvnewscanada are u f**king kiddin me?????? You’re supposed to be a RELIABLE source for news on music and this is the bulls**t u post??”

MTV Canada also took to Twitter and tried to explain itself: “#Rihanna fans. We were reporting on a story that was posted on several sites today. We had no intention to be salacious.”

I am sure there will be lots more of this to come…

Pink Uses Middle Finger As A Weapon To Shield Her Newborn From Paparazzi Pics

Motherhood suits Pink well. She posted a heartfelt letter on her website Thursday telling the world that she’s already fallen deep in love with her new baby girl, Willow. In the letter, she also asks her fans to not look at magazines or websites with unauthorized pics of her baby.

Here is some excerpts from her love letter (written with hubbie Carey Hart):
“We are absolutely blissed out in love over here! To our fans and friends all over the world, thank you for all of the prayers and well wishes through this time in our life! I finally found out what love really means.”
But don’t expect all this gushing to change her music. “Don’t worry, I’m not writing an album full of sappy lullabies,” she wrote. “Not yet, anyways?”
Below are excerpts of her letter about paparazzi pics of celeb babies, including Pink’s. I must say I 100% agree with Pink and have written several articles about the privacy rights of children. That is why you will not find a single unauthorized paparazzi picture of a celebrity baby on CelebMagnet.

Here are excerpts of what Pink has to say:

“Due to the unsettling, surprisingly aggressive and unsafe measures that the paparazzi seem to be willing to go to in order to secure that ‘first shot’ of our daughter–stalking us, chasing us in cars and sitting outside of our home all day and all night, as new parents Carey and I decided that we would release personal photos of our Willow, and donate all of the money to charity…

Like any parents, we believe our little girl deserves the right to have privacy and be protected, but unfortunately, this media climate doesn’t seem to provide for that… It’s one thing to harass and stalk us, the adults, the celebrity that signed up for this life, but children should be protected and safe. There should be a clear distinction between us. In EVERY other country that I recall, children’s faces are blurred out in magazine photos. Why is USA the only country that continues to financially incentivize intrusive paparazzi behavior to capitalize on photos of babies, infants and children? Why are celebrities/public figures having to seek restraining orders to keep strange grown men with still and video cameras from sitting perched outside of their children’s pre-schools and elementary schools, preying on little innocent kids?

…To anyone out there that buys a magazine, or goes onto a website to look at pictures of other people’s children, may you at least think for a second about what you may inadvertently be supporting… So when you see our middle fingers up in all of our pictures, now you know the motivation. It’s all we can do to stop images of a newborn baby from being printed without our consent. Can you imagine a world where they would blur out our middle finger to protect a “consumer” over blurring out an innocent child to protect their integrity and privacy?”

The letter ends with a little bit of new parent humor: “Baby poop really isn’t as bad as all the guys out there think. Careys’ already been pooed on, and he’s still breathing. Ahhhhh, ain’t love grand?”

Co-starring Tide, Downy, Bounce, and mud pie, this “I’ve never seen that guy in my life” three-year old commercial by Walmart is an absolute gem.

Cory Monteith Opens Up About His Past: “I’m No Finn Hudson”

Cory Monteith plays an innocent, lovable, sweet character on Glee, but Monteith admits that his past in real life is a far cry from his TV persona.

Monteith opened up to PARADE MAGAZINE: “I’m not Finn Hudson. I burned a lot of bridges, I was out of control. I’m lucky to be alive.”

In the article, the 29-year old actor gave much detail about his “serious” drug problem which involved “anything and everything, as much as possible.”

It all started when his parents got divorced when he was 7. He started skipping school, getting drunk and smoking pot at the age of 13. Monteith finally dropped out when 16, after attending 12 different schools. At 19, things had gotten so bad, his mother and friends organized an intervention.

“That’s when I first went to rehab,” but like others like him, his first stint at rehab was not enough to change his habits permanently. He had to hit rock bottom first to start to change, an experience he calls “the crystallizing event.”

“I stole a significant amount of money from a family member,” he admits. “I knew I was going to get caught, but I was so desperate I didn’t care. It was a cry for help. I was confronted and I said, ‘Yeah, it was me.’ It was the first honorable, truthful thing that had come out of my mouth in years.”

The family member told Monteith to clean up his act or he would be reported to the police. So, with those two options facing him, he moved in with a friend and was able to kick his drug habit. He then started a job a roofer and started acting.

“I don’t want kids to think it’s okay to drop out of school and get high, and they’ll be famous actors, too. But for those people who might give up: Get real about what you want and go after it. If I can, anyone can.”

This boy is simply, incredible, for a lack of a better word.

Howie Mandell said, “I’m here to judge, and I judge you fantastic.”

Piers Morgan: “You’re exciting. You’re dangerous. You’re a bit wild. And you haven’t been over trained in some dance school.” Piers later put it best: “Snap is humble when he speaks, arrogant when he dances.”

Sharon Osbourne called him a free spirit.
