Fantasia Barrino is a new mother!
The former American Idol champ gave birth to a son named Dallas Xavier Barrino Tuesday in North Carolina. Xavier weighed 7 lbs., 9 oz. and is 21 inches long.
“I feel so blessed that my son Dallas Xavier was born healthy, and is a wonderful new addition to our family,” the 27-year old told People. “I thank all my fans for their well wishes and continued support.”

*On President Obama saying he was disappointed in Matt’s movie, The Adjustment Bureau: “I have to say, it was pretty funny. Whoever came up with it, it was a terrific joke.”
On the Bourne franchise and choosing not to continue past the trilogy: “If you look at the first three movies, we kind of pounded that idea of identity and amnesia into the ground. We really got everything out of it that we could. So to reboot it, we need to come up with something completely new.” Continue reading
Adele has been named Billboard’s top artist of 2011. She also won the honors for top album (21) and top single (Rolling in the Deep) of the year, making her the first female to win all three honors in one year.
Explaining what makes Adele stand out from so many others in the music scene, Tye Comer, editor of Billboard.com, said: ‘Her success is really inspiring because it shows that there is still room in the music industry for an artist to make it with true, raw talent.
‘It’s not necessarily always about the outrageous outfits or flashy videos, but an amazing voice coupled with the right song still has the ability to turn the ears of millions of people and keep them interested.’
