Tracy Morgan Falls Unconscious, Rushed To Hospital At Sundance

Comedian and 30 Rock star Tracy Morgan was rushed to the hospital during the 2012 Sundance Film Festival Sunday, after falling unconscious at an award ceremony.

Morgan reportedly appeared disoriented while giving an acceptance speech during the Creative Coalition Spotlight. Sources told TMZ that Morgan was taken out of the building and fell unconscious outside. An ambulance was called to take Morgan to a nearby hospital. Continue reading

Music Legend Etta James Dies

After a long struggle with leukemia, legendary singer Etta James has passed away. She was 73.

Her longtime friend and manager, Lupe De Leon, confirmed the death of the four-time Grammy winner and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame member:

“This is a tremendous loss for the family, her friends and fans around the world. She was a true original who could sing it all – her music defied category or genre.”

“I worked with Etta for over 30 years. She was my friend and I will miss her always.”

Mark Wahlberg Says He Would Have Fended Off 9/11 Hijackers; Then, He Apologizes For His Comments

Mark Wahlberg told Men’s Journal recently that if he were a passenger on a plane on 9/11, he would have prevented the plane from crashing.

Apparently, Wahlberg was supposed to be on one of the doomed planes out of Boston on that fateful day, but he decided to take a plane to Toronto a week early.

“If I was on that plane with my kids, it wouldn’t have went down like it did. There would have been a lot of blood in that first-class cabin and then me saying, ‘OK, we’re going to land somewhere safely, don’t worry.'” Continue reading

Emily Maynard: The Next Bachelorette

According to US Weekly, North Carolina native Emily Maynard will ABC’s next Bachelorette.

The 25-year-old who got engaged to Brad Womack in the last season of The Bachelor, has reportedly signed on to star on the eighth season of the show.
Filming will begin in March and is set to take place in her hometown so she can stay near her daughter, Ricki.
