Mariah Carey is still the only confirmed judge on the American Idol judges table for one!

Katy Perry who was “hotly pursued” by the Fox hit show is now reported by TMZ for having turned down a $20 million offer to judge the show.

How could Perry turn down such a seemingly lucrative opportunity? In July, the singer told The Hollywood Reporter: “People have reached out to me about the possibility of being involved, and it’s not right for me yet.” Insiders also blame Perry’s busy schedule in addition to her belief that it simply not a good career decision as the reasons for the rejection of the offer.

Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi  gave birth to a 6 pound son, Lorenzo Dominic LaValle, early Sunday morning. The pint-sized reality star announced the news on Twitter: “I am SO IN LOVE with my son Lorenzo Dominic ! I had my little man last night, healthy at 6lbs! HE’S MY WORLD! ❤”. MTV confirms that Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi is in labor! A new Guido who will be named Lorenzo is going to be born any time soon!

“Yes, Nicole has gone into labor,” Snooki’s rep told MTV. While we understand she has fans everywhere – hospitals now included – we ask that her privacy be respected moving forward. We’ll all get to meet her Italian Stallion newborn soon enough.”

“I’m a balloon waiting to pop,” The 24-year-old Jersey Shore star Tweeted just yesterday. We will keep you posted!
