The good news is that Adam Levinehas landed his first lead role in a feature film. The bad news is that the flick has the unfortunate name of “Can A Song Save Your Life?”
The movie, a musical, co-stars Keira Knightley, Mark Ruffalo and Hailee Steinfield. The film revolves around an aspiring singer (played by Knightley) who moves to New York with her boyfriend and fellow aspiring musician (Levine) so they can both pursue a joint music career. Levine’s character soon breaks up with Knightley to pursue a solo recording contract, leaving Knightley all alone, only to be discovered by a “down-on-his-luck” record producer (Ruffalo).
