Lucy Liu sprung a bit of a surprise on her fans today by posting this adorable first picture of her newborn son, Rockwell Lloyd Liu, on Twitter. In the photo, Liu is seen cradling Rockwell in in her arms while the duo are seated in a rocking chair. The photo is captioned: “Introducing the new little man in my life, my son Rockwell Lloyd Liu. In ♥.”
Lucy was able to keep the birth of her son a secret because Rockwell was born via a surrogate. A rep for Liu said, “I can confirm that Lucy Liu is the proud mother of Rockwell Lloyd Liu, brought into the world via gestational carrier.” The rep added, “Mom and baby are healthy and happy.” This is Lucy’s first child.
