Anthony Weiner Resigns & Gets Heckled

Congressman Anthony Weiner announced his resignation as the Democratic representative of New York’s 9th district.

The resignation came after a scandal spawned by nude photos the New York lawmaker took of himself and sent online to numerous women.

During press conference, a man yelled, “bye bye pervert.” How did THAT guy get in?

But it got even worse. As Weiner made his announcement, the room erupted in applause. A heckler, better known as Benjy Bronk from the Howard Stern Show, also yelled: “Are you more than seven inches?”

When the former Congressman left the room, a final heckler which may be Benjy yet yelled: “Will you maintain your hot physique?”
I don’t know about you, but I kinda feel sorry for Weiner.

Hugh Hefner Sticks It To Crystal Harris On Playboy Cover

Crystal Harris, Hugh Hefner‘s Runaway Bride, had landed the cover of the upcoming issue of Playboy— and all copies were printed with the headline “Mrs. Crystal Hefner” before Crystal left Hugh practically at the altar. OOOPS!

But Hugh would not let more waste come out of this no-wedding. Instead of trashing the issue, he turned his lemons into lemonade.

Hef Tweeted: “Recent events call for a special sticker on the July cover. Look for it on newsstands.” So, to heal the wounds of his magazine oopsie, Hef slapped a large red sticker on the issue which reads, “Runaway Bride In This Issue.”

Magazine problem solved. Now, if only he could slap a large healing sticker on his broken heart…

VIDEO: Melanie & Marko Turned to Stone On SYTYCD

Live competition began Wednesday June 15 on So You Think You Can Dance as our Top 20 performed their first couple dance of the season.

Below is the video of the Contemporary routine by Melanie Moore and Marko Germar. Their dance was choreographed by Travis Wall to Turn to Stone by Ingrid Michaelson.

The duo got a standing ovation from the judges and the crowd. Nigel Lythgoe said, “It’s the first week, and this could be our first Emmy-nominated routine of the season.” Mary Murphy said, shaking, “Every once in a while on the show a number comes a long that is so magical…”–and she meant this number! She called them, “breathtaking!”

So You Think You Can Dance Top 20 performed Wednesday June 15th.

Below is the video of the Jazz routine by Caitlynn Lawson and who should have been her partner, Mitchell Kelly. Mitchell injured his elbow in rehearsals and was advised by doctors to sit this dance out (which lands him in bottom three of the men automatically.)

Caitlynn instead danced with Season 7’s Robert. The dance was choreographed by Sonya Tayeh to In For The Kill (Skream’s Let’s Go Ravey Remix) by La Roux.

Nigel Lythgoe gave her a “10” across the board. Mary Murphy told Caitlynn she has spectacular legs and was brilliant tonight.

VIDEO: Sasha & Alexander Impress But Lack Chemistry On SYTYCD

Sasha Mallory and Alexander Fost teamed up June 15 on a Contemporary routine for this season’s first night of competition on So You Think You Can Dance.

Their routine was choreographed by Travis Wall and danced to Stupid by Sarah McLachlan.

Nigel Lythgoe said he is scared of Sasha because she is like a “modern day Amazonian princess.” He asked for more emotion and passion out of Alexander. Mary Murphy called Sasha strong and dynamic and said Alexander is super strong too, but she did not feel the connection between the two.

VIDEO: SYTYCD Tadd & Jordan Bring Out Their Animalistic Side

Below is the video of the African Jazz routine by Tadd Gadduang and Jordan Casanova. It was choreographed by Sean Cheesman and danced to Riding the Waves by Afro Celt Sound System.

Nigel Lythgoe called the dance “tremendous,” Mary Murphy said Jordan was sensational and and said Tadd blew her away and emerged as a star.

Justice isn’t going to be done, but…better late than never?

A man who’s already behind bars for life has confessed to participating in an attack on Tupac Shakur at a New York City recording studio in November 1994, two years before the rapper was gunned down in Las Vegas.

But why is Dexter Isaac, who sent a statement to AllHipHop.com from prison, coming clean about this now all of a sudden?

Well, for one, the statute of limitations on the assault rap has passed. And Isaac was named in an accused drug dealer’s statement as a government informant (and, presumably, no one in prison want to be labeled a rat).

But today also would have been Shakur’s 40th birthday, and Isaac—he’s serving a life sentence for murder, robbery , fraud and witness intimidation—also says that he wanted to clear his conscience and make sure the right people are blamed for the attack.

“I want to apologize to his family,” Isaac told AllHipHop. “I am trying to clean it up to give [Tupac and Notorious B.I.G.’s] mothers some closure.”

Isaac claims that he still has all the jewelry he stole from the rapper except for one diamond ring. Furthermore, he says, he still has one of Shakur’s chains taken during the attack, during which Shakur was shot five times.

The 1994 shooting was notorious for allegedly setting off a deadly feud between Shakur and Biggie, who was shot to death in L.A. in March 1997, six months after Shakur was killed. Both slayings remain unsolved.

Czar Entertainment founder James Rosemond was indicted last month for his alleged role in a cocaine ring and during questioning he pegged Isaac as a government informant who was dishing out faulty information while incarcerated for other crimes.

An arrest warrant was issued for Rosemond on the drug charges, but he is not yet in custody.
