Taylor Lautner Credits Twilight Success To Characters, Not Himself

Taylor Lautner graces the cover of the latest issue of VMAN and in the accompanying interview he does not take any credit for the amazing success of the Twilight saga.

Instead, the actor says: “It’s definitely these characters we are playing. [Viewers and fans] are in love with Bella Swan, Edward Cullen, and Jacob Black. They feel like they know them. We are just lucky enough to be playing them.”

Humble. We love it.

Lautner does touch a bit on the downside of the stardom the Jocob Black character has spawned on his personal life and the way he now has to travel.

“When I am traveling the world promoting the films, I say I am on vacation, but it’s not really true. When I go to a beautiful city I spend the whole time in a hotel room and then I am back on a plane to the next place.”

Bethenny Frankel’s Skinnygirl Cocktails Pulled From Whole Foods Shelves

OH OH Bethenny Frankel!

The Huffington Post reports that Whole Foods supermarket chain has pulled all of Frankel’s Skinnygirl cocktails from its shelves when it found out that the cocktail’s natural ingredients were, well, not so natural.

“The store prides itself in selling the best quality whole products that our high-end consumers expect. Not novelty products that are shaded with secrecy,” a Whole Foods source says, referring to the fact that no ingredients are actually listed on the Skinnygirl bottle or package.

Neither The Skinnygirl website nor the Whole Foods site mentions the withdrawal and we have yet to receive comment from Frankel. But perhaps we should take heed to the reality star’s oft-spoken motto: “You have to fake it until you make it.” Or maybe the Bethenny Ever After star is just otherwise busy laughing all the way to the bank since she reportedly sold the brand to Fortune Brands’ Beam Global Spirits and Wine unit for $120 million back in the spring. Looks like we have a great dump off here!

Update: Bethenny sent this statement to Access Hollywood:
With all due respect to Whole Foods, we were in a dozen of their stores and have decided not to continue in these stores. They represent an infinitesimal fraction of our business. We are, in fact, the fastest growing spirits brand in the US,” her statement continued. “We were bound to piss someone off and everyone loves to try to tear down a success. This is a non-event. I haven’t lost even a wink of sleep.”

PHOTO: Chaz Bono Chilling With DWTS Partner Lacey Schwimmer

Dancing with the Stars contestant Chaz Bono, the show’s first transgender contestant, does not seem bothered by all of the controversy surrounding the show’s choice of casting him.

On the contrary, Bono is already enjoying his gig on the show. On the third day of rehearsals, he Tweeted this pic of himself and his dancing partner Lacey Schwimmer with the caption, “Me and Lacey chilling before rehearsal.”
Time will only tell how good Bono will perform on the show which is set to premiere September 19, 2011.

Marc Anthony Opens Up: “I Will Always Love Jennifer”

Breaking his silence for the first time since his split from wife Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony sat down with ABC News to talk about his marriage and what really went wrong.

Opening up, the 42-year-old singer told ABC that he will “always love Jennifer” when asked about his former wife of seven years.

This outpouring of love comes on the heels of JLo’s Vanity Fair interview where she said she will “always respect” Anthony as a professional. And because the two of them share two kids together, she said he will “always be in our lives,” holding a “special place” in her heart.

Marc’s interview will air in part on Thursday’s Good Morning America, with the “full exclusive” playing later on Nightline.

“The baby is due in February. Susan’s father, my brother, called me about three weeks ago with the good news. Her parents are over the moon about it.”
Congrats to the happy couple!

Rob Kardashian: My Mama Made Me Do It!

Rob Kardashian enjoys being the most low key member of his famous reality family. But then, we learned Monday that he will be part of this season’s Dancing with the Stars.

Now, why would a spotlight-shy guy take part in the highest rated TV show? Simple. His agent mama made him do it!

The 24 year-old reality star told Life & Style magazine: “I’m actually shocked that I’m doing it – I’m very low-key and really don’t like being in the spotlight, but my mom [Kris Jenner] forced me. That’s the real reason I’m doing it!” Continue reading
