Justin Bieberarrived in Oslo, Norway yesterday and the girls trying to get a glimpse of their idol got into such a state of frenzy, that per TMZ, 49 of them were injured and 14 were taken to the hospital.
The police almost declared a state of emergency as hundreds of Bieber fans descended onto the town and things got out of control. While none of the girls or anyone else was seriously hurt, Mayor Fabian Stang launched an investigation to find out what went wrong and why a stampede took place despite barricades and police presence. Mayor Stang said:
“I have already called on the Emergency Planning Agency to examine the entire event from the planning stage to its implementation. We have to find out what went wrong and why it happened.”
