Patrick Dempsey went up against Starbucks (aka ‘Green Monster’) and beat them out in a bidding war for a failing Seattle, WA coffee chain, Tully’s.
The Grey’s Anatomy star paid $9.15 million for the franchise in an auction yesterday but I guess he can offset the high cost by getting his coffee for free for the rest of his life.
“We met the green monster, looked her in the eye, and…SHE BLINKED!” Dempsey Tweeted of his win over Starbucks for the purchase. “We got it! Thank you Seattle!”

26-year-old Twilight star Bronson Pelletier was arrested in mid-December for public drunkenness when he showed up wasted at Los Angeles International Airport and then urinated in public at the terminal.
Classy.
Now, a video has surfaced showing a dazed and confused Pelletier being tackled by a police officer right after he took out his unit in front of a captive passenger audience and peed at the airport.
Pelletier was arrested and charged with public intoxication. His arraignment is set for Jan. 7. The charge carries up to six months in jail and a $1,000 fine if Pelletier is convicted.

In the “what took you so long” category, I’m happy to announce that sexy Adam Levine is making his Saturday Night Live hosting debut on Saturday, January 26.
The 33-year-old Maroon 5 frontman and “Voice” mentor will be joined by musical guest Kendrick Lamar. This will also be Lamar’s first time on the show’s famed stage.
Maroon 5 was a musical guest on SNL back in 2004 for the first time when Levine’s former “Voice” colleague Christina Aguilera hosted the show.
The band has since appeared on SNL several more times, in 2007, 2011 and 2012.
Kim Kardashian is not waiting till post-pregnancy to lose the extra baby weight–the reality star is already hitting the gym as seen here for an early morning workout in Studio City, California on Thursday.
Kim recently praised sister Kourtney Kardashian on her new slim figure, writing on her website: “How incredible does Kourt look!? She has lost 44 lbs in 6 months since giving birth to Penelope and looks better than ever. She is an inspiration to me!”
Kim added, “While we were in Miami we would always work out together and keep each other motivated and I am so proud of her!”

The Real Housewives of Atlanta and New Normal star posted a series of pics from her New Year’s Eve festivities which made it look like she and ex-husband Gregg Leakes may have gotten engaged!
The couple who divorced in 2011 after 14 years of marriage are now seen everywhere together, so an engagement would not be too shocking of a news. But NeNe has yet to come clean on what her pics were trying to tell her fans.
So, what pics did NeNe post to make us think the couple is giddily engaged?
First, there was the photo of their rose-petal-covered, candlelit hallway, with the caption, “Look @ our nite cap! #new beginnings.” Then, there were the photos below, one which shows off a bottle of champagne on ice, surrounded by strawberries/cream and a ‘G and an N’ made out of Hershey’s Kisses. Adam Lambert who knows a thing or two about singing, got in a bit of trouble when he offered his opinion over Twitter and criticized Tom Hooper’s musical movie adaptation, Les Misérables.
What Adam did is go off in a Twitter rant about the flick, saying it is “visually impressive w great Emotional performances. But the score suffered massively with great actors PRETENDING to be singers.” His rant continued, “The industry will say ‘these actors were so brave to attempt singing this score live’ but why not cast actors who could actually sound good?” Continue reading
Robin Roberts had a sweet reunion recently – and it was with her dog KJ!
An excited Roberts Tweeted last week: “Look who made it back for my 100 day [after bone marrow transplant] celebration.”
“We just keep staring at each [other] … can’t believe she’s finally home.”
Making it to the 100-day mark is a major milestone for patients who undergo this procedure and all signs point to a healthy recovery for Roberts who is due back on Good Morning America around May or June.
