Amy Adams To Play Lois Lane In ‘Superman’ Reboot

Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures announced today that Academy Award Winner Amy Adams will play Lois Lane opposite Henry Cavill who will play Superman in the Zack Snyder reboot of the film.

Snyder says in a statement: “Second only to Superman himself, the question of who will play Lois Lane is arguably what fans have been most curious about. So we are excited to announce the casting of Amy Adams, one of the most versatile and respected actresses in films today. Amy has the talent to capture all of the qualities we love about Lois: smart, tough, funny, warm, ambitious and, of course, beautiful.”

Kevin Costner and Diane Lane have already cast to play Mr. and Mrs. Kent, the adoptive parents of Superman.

Stephen Baldwin Sues Kevin Costner

Stephen Baldwin v. Kevin Costner. I didn’t see this fight coming, but, it’s on!

Baldwin has just filed a lawsuit against Costner, accusing him of duping him out of a multi-million dollar investment.

Apparently, Costner owns Ocean Therapy, a company which has invented machinery to separate oil from water. Think back to the BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico and then you will realize we are talking about a big boatload of dollars at stake here!

According to the lawsuit which was filed in a Louisiana federal court, Costner let Baldwin in on a 10% share of his company. But problems arose when, per Baldwin, Costner bought back Baldwin’s shares after allegedly lying to him about his eventual plans to sell the machinery to BP and making millions from the sale.

And not just two or three million dollars. As it turns out, Costner later sold 32 machines to the oil corporation, at a total estimated value of $52 million.

I guess Costner is accused of getting away with all the green while trying to go green for the environment. This should be an interesting case to watch unfold.
