David Duchovny Earns His Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame

Actor David Duchovny received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on January 25, 2016. The actor, who has appeared in The X-Files, Twin Peaks, Californication and Aquarius, drew support from X-Files producer Chris Carter and comedian Garry Shandling.

“I wouldn’t have a career without Chris and his show The X-Files,” Duchovny said, adding, “That really made everything happen for me as an actor.”

Quentin Tarantino Receives Star on Hollywood Walk of Fame

Director Quentin Tarantino received a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Hollywood Boulevard on Monday, in front of the TCL Chinese Theatre.

“Wow, I guess I must have become a big shot,” Quentin said of the honor. He talked about his first few times of walking the stretch of the famed sidewalk which now bears his very own star. The earliest event he remembers bringing him to the spot was Diamonds Are Forever. “The line went all the way down the block and at one point, as I stood in that line, I stood right here.” Continue reading

Hollywood Walk of Fame Ceremony Honors Ridley Scott

Famed director Ridley Scott was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame today, joined by friends Salma Hayek, Russell Crowe and Kristen Wiig.

The 77-year-old director behind this year’s hit film The Martian also attracted Djimon Hounsou, Eli Roth, and Jerry Bruckheimer to the ceremony. “We are all here to celebrate and honor your incredible body,” Kristen said, adding, “Of course we have to mention your museum of Believe It or Not, right down the street.” Continue reading

Our favorite beagle Snoopy has reached the ultimate Tinseltown dream: He received his very own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame today.

The singer who has had 18 number one hits and sold more than 200 million records, joined 2,555 other entertainers who’ve had their names immortalized on the famed sidewalk. Kristin Chenoweth Gets a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame

Kristin Chenoweth has become the 2,555th celebrity to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, being honored in the category of Live Theater/Performance. Her star is located just outside the Pantages Theatre in Hollywood.

The 47-year-old Tony and Emmy-winning actress was joined at the event by the legendary Carol Burnett and her Descendants on-screen daughter Dove Cameron. Also in attendance was director Kenny Ortega. Continue reading
