How did Tate Stevens do? Well, he was told by Simon Cowell that we will hear about Tate’s record sales in a year. Demi also predicted that Tate will be selling out stadium concerts. This guy is an incredible singer – I don’t think he will win The X Factor, but I guarantee that he will be extremely successful in the music business. LA Reid Quits X Factor, Will Not Return For Third Season

L.A. Reid has confirmed that he will no longer be a mentor / judge on the next season of The X Factor.

LA told THR: “I have the utmost respect for Simon Cowell. He is the very best, and I have had the opportunity to learn so much from him. Working with him on X Factor has been a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I’m honored to have sat on the panel with such incredible talent.”

The 56-year old judge added, “Of course I will miss the show; In my opinion Simon attracts the best talent. But I’m looking forward to getting back to my core business and the responsibility of running Epic Records.”
