General Hospital fans who were holding their breath for the return of Steve Burton as Jason Morgan took a big hit to the gut today and may have to hold their breath a while longer.
Burton, who played fan favorite Morgan on the ABC soap for nearly 19 years has announced that he is joining the cast of “The Young and the Restless”. Burton will be working again with friend and former “GH” executive producer Jill Ferran Phelps. Continue reading

Yes, sadly, I am speaking about Steve Burton who announced the news that he is leaving GH to his fans on Twitter by writing, ” Morning. Just wanted to thank all of you for your support over the years.You are amazing.It’s been an incredible 21 yrs of my life.THANK YOU.” He added, “Thanks for all the luv.I know it’s difficult for some.It is difficult for me.I luv the cast and crew..it has been home. SPOTTED: Carolyn Hennesy and Bradford Anderson of ABC’s General Hospital were at Barnes & Noble at The Grove in Los Angeles Sunday April 10 to promote their joint effort publication written around the life of a GH favorite, Damian Spinelli.
The book is titled The Secret Life of Damian Spinelli
Daytime TV’s hottest hunks, Scott Reeves (Steven Webber), Brandon Barash (Johnny Zacchara), Bradford Anderson (Damian Spinelli), and Steve Burton (Jason Morgan), were at The Grove in Los Angeles Thursday to perform as the Band Port Chuck for a rowdy mob of General Hospital and Extra TV fans.
