The Spice Girls, Victoria Beckham, Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell, Melanie Brown, and Melanie Chisholm, reunited on top of cars, singing their hearts out for the Closing Ceremony of the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, England.

After their performance, Beckham Tweeted this photo with the caption, “We did it!! I love u girls so much!!!!! xxx vb.”

Spice Girls Reunite In Performance To Close Out London Olympics

The SPice Girls reunited for 2012 London Olympics

The 90’s band Spice Girls are giving their fans what they want, what they really, really want, by getting back together again to close out the 2012 London Olympics. This is fantastic news for fans of the popular girl band who have not performed live together since 2007.

The Daily Mail reports that the gorgeous quintet were spotted recently rehearsing for their show at the Ford car plant in Dagenham, east London.
This Sunday, Victoria Beckham, Emma Burton, Geri Halliwell, Mel B and Mel C will once again transform into their alter egos Posh Spice, Baby Spice, Ginger Spice, Sporty Spice and Scary Spice in front of millions of viewers worldwide.
Mel C had hinted at the reunion in an interview earlier in the year. The singer said, “We were proud to be British and to be successful internationally, and we were the last band probably to do that. So I think it would be a real shame if we were not acknowledged in some way at the Olympics.”

Spice Girls Reunite To Launch “Viva Forever!”

The Spice Girls reunited in London on Tuesday morning for the first time since 2008 to give their fans what they want , what they really, really want: An Announcement of the upcoming West End musical,  Viva Forever!, based on their music.

Producers of the show say “Viva Forever!” isn’t a biography of the band but there will be many real-life similarities to the 1990s “Girl Power” group. This will be a story of female empowerment and friendship tested by fame. Continue reading

Baby Spice Is Engaged!

Emma Bunton, or better known to music fans as Baby Spice of the ’90’s girl band Spice Girls announced via Twitter today that she is engaged to longtime love Jade Jones.

Emma also showed off her magnificent ring on Twitter by posting the photo to the right with the caption, “Yahooooo I’m Engaged! Love you Jade! I’m a very happy lady!!”

The happy engaged couple is expecting their second child together in May.
