SPOTTED: Colton Dixon was seen recently at The Grove mingling with fans and other American Idol finalists including Hollie Cavanagh, Jessica Sanchez, and DeAndre Brackensick.

JESSICA SANCHEZ gave three more flawless performances on the semi-finals episode of American Idol tonight May 16, 2012.

For her first song and as judges’ choice, Jessica sang My All by Mariah Carey (picked by JLo). Randy said it was absolutely beautiful and called it the right song choice for Jessica. Jennifer who had picked the song for Jessica said it is a hard song to sing but she sang it beautiful in her own way. JLo added that Jessica has a lot of control over her voice. Steven said, “When you sing you make people hang on to your every note, get used to encores.” Steven thinks Jessica will be “the last one standing here.” Continue reading

Hollie Cavanagh Speaks On Idol Ouster & Joshua Ledet’s Tears

Hollie Cavanagh woke up Thursday morning and “just kind of knew” that she may be the one eliminated off of American Idollater that day.

As her exit interview, Cavanagh told reporters: “Honestly, if you’d asked me a couple of weeks ago I would’ve been upset and in tears, but you can’t really complain when you are at the top four.” Cavanagh added, “There were so many people previously in the competition that would have died to have been in this spot, so I am proud of myself at this point.” Continue reading

Hollie Cavanagh has just been eliminated off of American Idol in a live eliminations results show which aired tonight, May 10, 2012. Joshua Ledet, Jessica Sanchez and Phillip Phillips are now our Top 3 American Idols.

Hollie sang Faithfully by Journey and I Can’t Make You Love Me by Bonnie Raitt as her two songs last night. While the judges applauded her first performance, they crushed her Idol dreams with their remarks on her rendition of the Bonnie Raitt classic. Continue reading

Out Top 5 contestants will be singing two songs each, one from 60’s and the other from Brit pop.
