Designer Bijan Pakzad To Be Remembered At Service Today

Famous designer Bijan Pakzad will be remembered at an invite-only memorial service Saturday, April 30, 2011 at UCLA’s Voice Hall from 6-8 PM PT.

The 1800 guests were invited by family. Famous Persian Singer Satar will perform at the ceremony.

Bijan passed away April 6, 2011 from a brain stroke. He is survived by three children, Daniela, Alexandra and Nicolas Bijan Pakzad.

This flower arrangement was designed for the service by close friend David Sedgh of Valla Jewelery- He used yellow flowers because that was Bijan’s favorite color.

BREAKING NEWS: 67-year old iconic Iranian fashion designer Bijan Pakzad has died after suffering a stroke Thursday night.Valla Jewelry designer and one of Bijan’s best friends, David Sedgh, gave these details. On Thursday, Bijan was not feeling well. His business manager told him to stay home and relax. He insisted in coming in the store in the afternoon.
