America’s Next Top Model premiered Cycle 18 February 29, 2012. The CW series has gone international.   American fashion publicist, Kelly Cutrone joins the cast, replacing Vogue Editor-at-Large Andre Leon Talley. Kelly joins Tyra Banks and Nigel Barker on the judging panel. Jay Manuel and Miss J Alexander will return as creative director and runway trainer.
Cycle 18 returns with its first-ever “British Invasion,” featuring former contestants from “Britain’s Next Top Model” and an all-new crop of American model hopefuls competing for the grand prize. The American contestants are: AzMarie Livingston, Candace Smith, Ebonee Davis, Kyle Gober, Laura LaFrate, Mariah Watchman and Seymone Roth. The British contestants include: Alisha White, Annaliese Dayes, Ashley Brown, Catherine Thomas, Jasmia Robinson, Louise Watts and Sophie Sumner. Continue reading →

SHOCKER: Angelea Preston was disqualified on the season finale of  America’s Next Top Model all stars cycle finale.

Why was Angelea disqualified? The rumor/ scoop is that Angelea was disqualified because the network found out that she posted or leaked something on her Facebook account. The extra scoop (unconfirmed) is that Angelea posted on Facebook that she had won before the episode aired. As a result, the finale had to be re-shot with a new winner. WOW!

WORST FASHION SHOW EVER!

CelebMagnet is starting to get invited to more and more exclusive, private events, including my very first fashion show. But before you let the phrase “lucky girl” crawl across your mind, wait and read this post because I think afterwards, you will see yourself as the lucky one instead.

I was looking extremely forward to this event as I had always wanted to be front and center ogling avant garde ensembles I would never dare wear myself. So, on I went to this “poolside fashion show” hosted by an upscale Los Angeles boutique which shall remain nameless because I am about to bash their event. My blog is not mean-spirited, so, my point is not to bash specific people or designs; just poorly-planned logistics. Continue reading →
