On Wednesday evening, U2 brought together Bay Area notables and Saleforce’s Dreamforce attendees for an inspiring performance at The Concert for UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals, a benefit concert held in conjunction with the annual convention. Thousands of people attended the concert and after party hosted by will.i.am and MC Hammer at the Cow “Cloud” Palace in Daly City.U2

More than $10 million was raised from sponsorships and tickets sales, which will benefit UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals. Several notables attended, including Christy Turlington, Nancy and Paul Pelosi, Bill and Melinda Gates, Laurene Powell Jobs, Metallica’s Lars Ulrich, Apple’s Johnny Ive, industrial designer Marc Newsom, Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf, and Dr. Mitul Kapadia from UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital San Francisco.
