At #BeautyconDallas, digital influencers came together with beauty fans to network, discuss the future of online media, and converse during panel discussions, Q&As, and meet and greets. Moj Mahdara, CEO of Beautycon Media says, “We created Beautycon Media and the Beautycon Festivals as a new platform for content creators and the fans that love them. We give a voice to an under served generation of 84 million kids that live in an entirely digital world. So many companies focus on marketing to this generation – we’re focused on creating a community for them where they feel comfortable to embrace their eccentricities and be true to who they are.”

Molly Sims started the festivities by moderating the “More Than Makeup Panel” on Saturday, March 19th where Tiarra Monet, Missy Lynn, AlisonLovesJB, LeighAnnSays, and Grav3yardGirl discussed a broader approach to beauty and how to care for yourself from the inside out. After all, makeup is fun, but’s that’s just one way to feel beautiful!

Radio Disney’s on-air personality Alli Simpson MC’d and broadcast live from the Festival. Throughout Radio Disney’s broadcast, listeners were be able to tune in to the Festival, where thousands of beauties had the opportunity to participate in interactive presentations, watch live musical performances, create content, shop, play games, learn about new products, and interact with over 20 of their favorite brands including: Tarte Cosmetics, Maybelline New York, Redken, Shea Moisture, and many more.

Beautycon Media fans also had the chance to purchase The Total Package, which allowed fans to get into Beautycon Dallas early and join fellow fans at the Official Beautycon Pre-Party Brunch where they dined on light brunch items and juices.

Blushington was on-site to provide glam services in the preshow before purchasers of the package went to their choice of three meet-ups. These fans also had the chance to win exciting prizes and pre-shop exclusive Beautycon Festival merchandise and had a dedicated, priority VIP check-in and entrance. Not to mention they received a Beautycon Festival tote bag filled with the best lifestyle products and a commemorative Beautycon Dallas laminate.

Throughout the Festival, information on pop culture, trending news, fashion and beauty, favorite content creators, and important issues were exchanged and disseminated in real time via Beautycon Media social channels (Instagram: @Beautycon, Twitter: @BeautyconTweets) because Beautycon Media understands the importance and value of digital media to Gen Z and the millennial generation. A powerful new force in consumer culture, Gen Z – 80% of which is comprised of millennials – is inherently social and internet-obsessed, consuming video on-the-go and moving markets by spending an average of $400 billion in the US each year.
