Is it me, or is this selfie trend gotten way, way out of hand? I mean when the top two leaders of the free world start goofing around and take time out of their schedule to smile for the camera, we may have a problem, Houston.

The U.S. Vice President Joe Biden recently joined Instagram and as his very first post, he showed off a selfie with President Barack Obama.

Using the heavyweight Instagram handle of @VP, Biden posted this image with the caption, “Found a friend to join my first selfie on Instagram. Thanks for following and stay tuned. -VP”
