LIVE SHOW RECAP

ONE ON ONE DATE WITH DREW
Drew and Des explore Barcelona on their one-on-one date. But right off the bat, Drew says ‘first things first’ and and kisses Des just to get it out of the way. Des of course is happy, saying way to start the date strong. And he says he gets butterflies every time he is around her.

During the date, Drew opens up and cries as he talks about his hero, his dad who is a recovering alcoholic. Drew’s father has turned his life around but is now fighting cancer.

The two get closer and right before their romantic dinner is going to start, Drew whisks Des away from the table to a secluded alley for hot makeout session against the wall. So, he gets the rose. That’s when Drew crushes Des by telling her that James is not there for the right reasons–says he is there to make the top four men so he can be the next Bachelor. He says James said that would change his life. Obviously Des believes Drew because she calls James an a hole on camera.

GROUP DATE
Six men get the group date card which is to accompany Desiree to the RCD Espanyol futbol stadium where they will practice some soccer moves. Des invites James on this date too, giving him the benefit of the doubt. All the guys think that Juan Pablo would have an edge here sine he is a former pro soccer player. What the men don’t realize is that they will be playing against Des and her team which is Spain’s top futbol players. All females. The amazing ladies win 10-2. James was terrible as the men’s goalie and everyone including Des notices that he’s just not into the game. Is he also not into Des?

At after party, Des sweeps Chris away to her room and reads a poem she wrote for him. I can’t remember anytime in Bachelorette history when a Bachelorette wrote a poem for one of the guys, do you?? The two makeout on her bed. Understandably so.

Brooks gets some one on one time with Des opens up to Des about how much he likes her. The two cuddle and kiss. Brooks is happy he’s with Des rather than dealing with the drama going on with the boys…

Speaking of the drama, Kasey, Mike and Chris confront James. Kasey comes clean that he overheard James talking about why he is on the show. James looks shocked at first. They tell him he will hurt Des in the end. James denies it all saying he was joking. He says he felt part of the herd after his one on one date. There’s lots of fighting! James said Mikey brought up the conversation not him and he was saying just in general that anyone in top 4 could be the next Bachelor.

DES CONFRONTS JAMES
Des is told by Casey about James, confirming what Drew already told her. How will Des handle this? She says she will not be giving out a date rose. Instead, she sends the men home but asks James to stay to confront him. She tells him she believes the other men because ‘they are guys that I fully trust.’ James says Mikey brought up the conversation and not him. He says James had the connection with Des not Mikey, so, Mikey talked a big game. James swore to his dad that he never said those things. He says what he said is “Mikey, if you end up engaged to Des, the worst thing that can happen to me is I can be the next Bachelor.” He says the others are just jealous of his connection to Des. He says he has feelings for her and is crying. And then she cries because she says she trusts the others but she also trusts him. James says he wants to be there. But this is tough on him. He can’t guarantee how he’d feel next week but he had a great time with here. She tells him she needs time to mull this all over after some sleep. WHAT WILL DESIREE DO? Stay tuned!

ONE ON ONE DATE WITH ZAK
Zak and Des leave Des’ problems with James behind and head to an exclusive art studio for private sketching lessons. The two are having a blast drawing each other until a nude male model comes in. And it gets awkward. To break the ice, Zak drops to his whitey tighties and pretends to be the next model. Des thinks Zak is funny and has good energy.

Later, they enjoy a romantic, candle-lit table deep inside a cava cave. Zac gets a rose and many kisses.

JAMES VS. DES, ROUND TWO!
Des surprises the men in their hotel suite and asks to speak with James. Before they talk, we hear Des telling the camera that she woke up knowing she needs to send James home so the men know she trusts them. He tells her he is here to fall in love with her and she is a beautiful person and he thinks the world of her. He says she has the qualities that he’s been looking for. As they talk, the guys watch them over the balcony. Des looks confused. She says he exudes such sweetness that he she can’t let him go. She wants more time to think alone without the guys affecting her mind.

I’m gonna say it. I like James. If Des lets James go, she will regret her decision. She was simply bullied by the other wussies men. These guys are all dating the same women. Only ONE will get Des. James is the only smart one who has a plan B.
