“Dancing With The Stars” airs its eighth performance episode of season 16 tonight May 6, 2013. Our six remaining couples will each dance two numbers on tonight’s show to earn your votes and the judges’ scores.

In the first round, the couples will be dancing a traditional ballroom dance in a style that they have not yet performed this season. For the second round, the couples will dance as part of a trio with an already-eliminated pro or troupe member.

Judges’ comments: Bruno said Sean lost his footing after starting well. Carrie Ann said “Last week you did the Rumba and everything was sustained.  Looks like you threw it out of the window, it was all gone.  Focus I know you can do it.” Len called it so sharp and full of punch that they lost fluidity. He said it was ugly.

Trio Dance: Jazz Trio with Sharna
Judges comments:  Bruno: “Plenty of magic. And a little bit of tragic.  The number was fantastic.  But you get your feet into a jumble.”  Carrie Ann: “Bruno is right, the girls were so tight, and once you got out of sync.”  Len: “It was a bit like your first dance….the attack came in and style went out.”

Judges’ comments:  Carrie Ann: “How do you feel after dancing that?..the transformation I have seen you is incredible.”  Len: “It had mood, it had atmosphere. This is about a guy dancing with his mistress.  It was smooth and seductive.”  Bruno: “I had to idea you could be so good at being so bad.  You have become such a good actress.  The lifts were sensational!”

Judges’ comments: Carrie Ann: “This week, I love your consistency. You were a little flat-footed but keep going in this direction.”  Len: ” You went for it really strong.  This was a terrific number.”  Bruno: “They are right, but you have grown so much as a performer.  You are able to play characters.  You have become a fantastic dancer.”

Judges’ Comments: Len loved the musical interpretation.Bruno said Ingo sometimes looked like Fred Flinstone but overall Bruno thinks he did a great job. Carrie Ann complimented Ingo for having his best posture so far. He reminds her of Gene Kelly.

Judges comments: Len: “It could have been a bit sharper in the feet. But Jazz is about fun and that was full on and fun. I liked it.” Bruno: “It was like a King in a contest on a sugar high. You did not go wrong. If you come back next week, clean up your kicks and flicks.” Carrie Ann: “When we lost Andy I thought we lost the heart, but you brought it back. Good job!’

Judges’ Comments: Bruno thinks Kellie had wonderful technique. He also said: “Mirror, mirror on the wall who is the prettiest of them all, you darling. You were not a princess, you were a Queen.”Carrie Ann said Kellie was incredible and took the emotions way beyond the dance. Len said it “was sophisticated, lovely mood, oceans of emotion.  Extension we beautiful.  Lovely dancing, well done.”

Bruno: “That was masterpiece theater. From Angel to devil. It was so engrossing, so entertaining.  I wanted to be part of it.”  Carrie Ann: “You took my breath away…Fantastic. Fabulous!”  Len: “I was expecting more than flashing lights.  It was a hodge pod of moves.  Where were the twist moves? This girl is so talented.  You know I am right!”
