Amazing Race airs its sixth episode of season 22 tonight March 24, 2013 called “Scorpion King Hunter.”
On tonight’s episode, the remaining teams will leave Vietnam and travel to Africa where they participate in a safari.

Teams now have to travel to Botswana, Africa. Pam & Winnie are the first ones to take off for the airport. Chuck & Wynona encounter difficulties while at the travel agency trying to figure out their destination plans. Then, they get U-Turned by Joey & Meghan. All teams arrive at the airport but end up on three different flights. The last plane to take off has Mona & Beth, Pam & Winnie, and Chuck & Wynona.
Once they land, teams must drive to a marked road to get their next clue which is “Who Wants To Make A New Friend”. For this, teams must dig up a scorpion which is considered a bushman’s best friend.
Bates finishes the task first for his team and must now head down the road with three bushman. Caroline finishes second. Her bushman actually eats the scorpion she’s dug up. Max finishes and almost faints when his bushman put the scorpion in his mouth.
Bates & Anthony are now in first place. They arrive at a Detour which has teams choose between “Fire” or “Fowl”. In “Fire” teams will learn how to make fire with two sticks and light the elder bushman’s pipe for their next clue. In “Fowl”, teams will set a trap over eggs.
Fire is the detour most teams choose. Pam and Wynona are still looking for their scorpion but are finally finished. Bates & Anthony finish the detour first and head to the pit stop at a Safari Camp.
Caroline & Jennifer are having a hard time building their fire. Pam & Winnie are the only team so far to choose “Fowl”. They call the task “Sesame Street on crack”. Mona & Beth are also having trouble with their detour.
Chuck & Wynona also decide to do “Fowl”–will this help them catch up? Joey & Meghan decide to stop attempting “Fire” and head over to “Fowl”. Pam & Winnie finish and head to the Pit Stop and are team #2. Chuck & Wynona arrive in third place and are so happy they beat the younger teams. Joey & Meghan are team number four at the Pit Stop.
Caroline & Jennifer are team #5. Mona & Beth finish with their Detour but head in the wrong direction. Eventually, they realize and are team number six to arrive at the pit stop. Max & Katie are the last team to arrive at the pit stop. BUT, this is a Speed Bump in the next leg.
PIT STOP ORDER:
1. Bates and Anthony. They win a trip to Thailand.
2. Pam and Winnie
3. Chuck and Wynoona
4. Joey and Meghan
5. Caroline and Jennifer
6. Mona and Beth
7. Max and Katie
WHO GETS ELIMINATED OFF OF AMAZING RACE TONIGHT?
Max & Katie are the last team to arrive at the pit stop. BUT, this is a Speed Bump in the next leg.
