After spending a hefty $1M, Lady Gaga is now the proud owner of MANY, and I mean MANY, Michael Jackson memorabilia items auctioned over the weekend during Julien’s “Icons & Idols” event held in Beverly Hills, CA. Though we do not know the exact items acquired, we do know that they include many iconic performance costumes of the late King of Pop.

Gaga put it best herself by Tweeting: “The 55 pieces I collected today will be archived & expertly cared for in the spirit & love of Michael Jackson, his bravery, & fans worldwide.”

Gaga also Tweeted this photo of herself wearing a replica MJ crystal-studded glove with the caption, “Paddle 462”.

We do not know yet the exact items sold but auctioneer Darren Julien said the famous jacket MJ sported during his “Bad” tour raised $240,000 and two of Jackson’s crystal-encrusted gloves fetched $100,000 PLUS each.

The auction raised more than $5 million, with some of the proceeds going to Guide Dogs of America and Nathan Adelson Hospice of Las Vegas.
